Isn’t it crazy how We the Tax Payers foot the bill for Public *Assistance* funding, yet we don’t get to see a breakdown of expenditures, or determine guidelines for how our hard earned money is redistributed?

Sure is, once upon a time you had to have a sponsor, be able to support yourself and family.

My invalid brother 57 was just turned down for TennCare. He has Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome, and the doctor says he will never be able to work again. So no job, no income, and no health care. SS disability takes 3-4 yrs. He needs a care facility that will make sure he takes his meds, eats right, does hygiene, and gets to doctors appointments.

My poor sister who has scoliosis and her husband who has MD has to put up with him as her house was his last address, he lived in a RV in her back yard which he wrecked the inside of. Hospital just brought him via ambulance with a walker and took 2 big men to haul him up steep stairs and dumped him on her loveseat in her living room. Which is now his bed. How are they supposed to pick up a 200 lb man if he falls? No way to install a wheelchair ramp on the house due to the fact it is on the side of a Mountain in E. TN.

They are looking for a flat yard house so they can build a ramp for my BIL as his MD has advanced to the point he will not be able to work more than another 2 yrs and is now dragging himself up the narrow basement stairs.
