Worth repeating:

The IRS should be 2 guys working 2 days twice a year.
They meet the day after a federal budget is passed.
They divide the bottom-line total revenue needed by the number of Congressmen, add up according to state, and bill each state’s Governor accordingly (noting a 50% late fee), due (as in arrived, not sent) April 15.
On April 16, they check the one IRS mailbox, cash all checks.
On April 17, they confirm the funds have been transferred, and notify the President accordingly.

Let the states decide how they will raise the revenue. This is the United STATES; the states formed the club, let their individual members deal with the state wherever possible, leaving the state as an entity to deal with the feds.

This snotty ass hat needs to have his teeth knocked down his throat.

It’s time for the Fair Tax (or anything else that gets rid of the IRS).

The GOP doesn’t have any John Koskinen-like people amongst its ranks, does it?

It would have been nice if Gov. Pence had told the RFRA protestors that RFRA is now the LAW in the State of IN, & that they can either move to another State or spend their $ at another business if their feelings are hurt by the RFRA.

But noooooooooo, the GOP typically caves like Obama & Kerry are doing w/ Iran. When the Progressives give them “the look”, the GOP usually sits down in its designated corner & shuts up.

I like the States Plan better than any other I have read about. Abolish the IRS and return power to the States. That is the only way to cut the size of the Federal government.

That is correct! My guess is the IRS chief does NOT know that.

The cretins at Politico are Hillary supporters. It’s not easy feeling good about trying to get that corrupt, lying hag into the White House again, so they resort to putting better people down.

The problem with entrenched bureaucracies is that following the example of the FIrst truly moron president of Any Color, and his contempt for Constitutional powers an limitations, they also are entitled to do the same.
Unless th legislature seriously asserts their absolute power ovef the president in revenue matters, and soon, they might as well all resign, since they are all now irrelevant.
Should the Courts attemp to intervene, Congress should ignore them without a second thought. Three can play at that game. The House must replace all their Constitutional legal experts and advisors toot sweet and get some aggressive ones who actually know what they are doing.

At least Congress should end all bonuses to IRS employees. We would be far better off with a simple flat tax so you could file your taxes online in 5 minutes. I just spent $225 having my taxes prepared. I probably could have done them myself online, but simply don’t trust myself for all the byzantine nuances of the current tax code. I’m certain millions of others have also shelled out $200+ for their tax preparation for the same reason.

Anybody who thinks Congress will abolish the IRS is simply delusional...

Should they rein them in....sure, but the IRS is never going away....

They are the 500 lb gorilla for funding the government...

John Koskinen gave us the finger. When we are dealing with the communists machine backing the destruction of America he can just relax. Nothing is going to happen to the IRS except more taxes.

John Koskinen, the strange, David Icke-like lizard person and unprosecuted felon [perjury in front of Congress] currently in charge of the Internal Revenue Service

Updated in the interests of strict accuracy. :)

YOu are right in that congress deserves getting every bit of derision they get,
They deserve it.
Bunch of spineless worthless scum that they are.
Only thing they care about is making themselves money and getting re-elected.
They are the ones who belong burning in cages.

So what’s stopping us? Only the entrenched interests of the Permanent Bipartisan Fusion Party, that’s what.

aka The Managerial State:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Managerial_state

Paul Gottfried, in After Liberalism, defines this worldview as a "series of social programs informed by a vague egalitarian spirit, and it maintains its power by pointing its finger accusingly at antiliberals." He calls it a new theocratic religion. In this view, when the managerial regime cannot get democratic support for its policies, it resorts to sanctimony and social engineering, via programs, court decisions and regulations...

“Somebody has to collect the money, and then somebody also has to make sure when you fill in the small card, you’re putting in the right numbers,” Koskinen said.

And somebody has to make sure that those with conservative political views get punished by the government. And who better than the IRS?

their actions during audits is enough to make you think there is no due process when dealing with them.

Al Sharpton disagrees.
