Hillary Clinton comes off as confused, myopic and downright clueless in a number of email exchanges that have made headlines thanks to recent inquiries from a number of news outlets.
In one exchange, brought to light after the AP released emails it obtained through a FOIA request, Clinton doesn’t know that she’s supposed to be talking with her adviser, Huma Abedin, about a Pakistani-Taliban over the remains of a crashed U.S. drone. Rather, Clinton believes she’s discussing interior furnishings.
Here’s the relevant portion of that exchange. It’s of note that Clinton refutes her own post-scandal assertions that she only used one mobile device while serving at the State Department:
The AP isn’t the only news outfit to have recently uncovered some interesting tendencies Clinton exhibited, through her emails, while she served as Secretary of State. ProPublica and Gawker have published a pair of stories that delve into Clinton’s relationship with longtime ally Sidney Blumenthal, calling into question her assertion that the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was a surprise reaction to an anti-Muslim video.
Only two weeks before the Sept. 11, 2012 attack, Clinton was receiving detailed intelligence on the situation on the ground in Libya. All of this was being communicated via her private email account. That account, according to congressional investigators, has not yielded any Benghazi-related emails from among the trove of “official” documents Clinton turned over to the State Department. Does that mean Clinton intentionally omitted exchanges like these before handing over her State Department emails to the Feds?
“One memo was sent on August 23, 2012, less than three weeks before Islamic militants stormed the diplomatic outpost in Benghazi,” Gawker reported. “It cites ‘an extremely sensitive source’ who highlighted a string of bombings and kidnappings of foreign diplomats and aid workers in Tripoli, Benghazi and Misrata, suggesting they were the work of people loyal to late Libyan Prime Minister Muammar Gaddafi.
“While the memo doesn’t rise to the level of a warning about the safety of U.S. diplomats, it portrays a deteriorating security climate. Clinton noted a few days after the Benghazi attack, which left four dead and 10 people injured, that U.S. intelligence officials didn’t have advance knowledge of the threat.”
The significance of that observation is hard to emphasize too greatly. Scroll to the bottom of Gawker’s story and read the embedded memo from Aug. 23, 2012, which were taken “verbatim” from Libya intelligence memos obtained by ProPublica. There’s a lot of detail in the descriptions of the declining security in Libya — and no mention of a video.

I'm surprised that she spells out sensitive topics in emails in their headings. Even if she thought her email was secure, who knows where it can end up once it's sent? Even a lot of us little folk with nothing to hide know to keep titles bland and non-informative.
It looks like Hillary is just plain lazy. Rather than construct a new email to discuss furnishings she simply clicked on an existing email discussion to communicate with Huma. What is important is that Huma appears to have been involved with official State Department discussions regarding government events. Subpoenas need to be sent to Huma.
Of course but the media will keep talking about the IN law and lie to their few viewers so they can provide cover for Hillary lying Clinton.
Just another manufactured crisis by the left to deflect attention.
Ah, correct me if I’m wrong, but hasn’t Queen Hillary broken a number of laws already? Why hasn’t she already been ARRESTED? Congress is considering hearings? What the $()#) for? Just arrest her! What am I missing here?

I’ll confess I’m overwhelmed by the endless scandals in the Obama administration. There are too many for me to track, too many being buried by the press, and too many with profound national security implications.
From my standpoint, Obama has succeeded in overwhelming the system and has created what amounts to a dictatorship.

I wonder if anyone not connected with Hillary or the Obama Administration could go before the FISA judges to allege that it appears that there has been a major breach of classified information and that this warrants a special prosecutor.
If we draw this investigation out until the next President takes office this could make a big turn. A real AG could make a big difference.
How about the one she mistakenly sent to the wedding cake people that said,
“I talked to my boss and we can go with that deal. Put $20 million in each of the Swiss Accounts I gave you. That’s $20,000,000 in EACH account. When this is done, I will instruct Huma to deliver the blueprints to you. BTW, when you meet the boss, do not mention the 2nd account or the extra $20 million. Allah be with you!”
Appointing Clinton and Kerry to head the State Dept. during his rule shows that Obama intended to betray the USA to its enemies.

Yes. This is what happens when a member of the ruling class makes no distinction between government, politics, and personal staff. Not only do communications get commingled, so do staff functions. The use of government staff for personal errands is petty corruption. The use of political staff for government functions leads to policy corruption for political reasons, and end-running the accountability of regular government channels, where records are kept and long-serving bureaucrats have career horizons broader than the leadership of the moment. Last but not least, the use of government staff for political purposes leads to systematic abuse of power. Hillary's emails are reflective of the patterns we already know exist.
