This is what really frosts me and concerns me. Pence is already seemingly walking back this law, or “Clarifying it”. Why is it ALWAYS that Conservatives apologize or “clarify” what they say or do? Once this occurs, it’s absolutely blood-in-the-water time and the fascist left goes into a feeding frenzy.
It is too late, with Pence seemingly walking back this law by trying to assuage the left we have lost on the issue. The bully left has won — again, and because of our timidity.
This just sucks.
One of Governor Malloy's top deputies is an America-hating, militant homosexual activist, and the Governor has a long history of corruption. So, you can draw your own conclusions.
So O’Malley will immediately call on the Connecticut legislature to repeal their version of the very same law. Right Governor?

There is a fundamental natural inalienable right to conscience, as there is a natural right to the ownership of one’s own body and the fruits of one’s own labor. There is a civil right to have a protected class of individuals treated the same under the law. This has included the civil right to be served the same as anyone else by a business operating under a commercial license which provides services to the public.
The business must serve gays as it serves all others. It must make accommodations to do so even if the owner has legitimate individual religious objections (e.g. gay marriage.) I believe this law is supposed to assist in cases such as an individual who is the only employee and sole provider of service - like a photographer being asked to photograph a gay wedding because they believe marriage is a sacrament solely between a man and a woman. In America, we certainly don’t want to force someone to provide a service that is legitimately contrary to his conscience. Just being against gayness in general because the Bible allegedly condemns that is not going to be sufficient to refuse all services to gays.
I’m about at the point where my solution to leftists/cowards is to punch them right in the face. At least while they walk away, rubbing their jaw, they would mutter: “ Maybe he DOES have a point there”
Marxists are so tolerant of everyone except those who disagree with them.

I just received the following email from an old and dear friend who taught school back when teaching school meant the “Three R’s” and DID NOT include Marxist political correctness indoctrination. I pass it along as possible food for thought for those of us who grasp the “end game” of this perniciously pestilential process.

Mary, The country in which you and I grew up has been hijacked by a consortium of lownoinfo voters (thank you government schools and the Marxists now running them) and venal, self-serving politicians who believe that if they either remain silent to the ongoing “transformation” (much of the GOP) or aid and abet the process (ALL the Dems who are now indistinguishable from the Stalinists who captured Russia), they will be elevated to princes in the new regime.
Ernst Rohm and the others who assisted Hitler in his conquest of Germany held similar beliefs. He was rewarded with a bullet in the head in a prison cell. His associates died in “The Night of the Long Knives”, the lucky ones killed outright, the unlucky ones slowly strangled hanging from hooks like so many butchered cattle.
What these current fools and accomplices of this new tyranny fail to understand is that the history of tyranny is filled with such stories. The tyrant will not tolerate the existence of ANY groups or individuals who might come to threaten his tyranny.
