The federal government does not have the authority to establish a national speed limit.
Speed limits are established by the states, not the federal government.
The federal government did enact a law that limited federal transportation funds for states that did not establish a 55mph limit.
Therefore, states could keep whatever speed limit they wanted but they would lose federal funds.
Federal control via tax dollars. . .a dangerous thing.

He has shown us what happens when those who have a choice eschew the opportunity to oust him an replace him with someone less toxic....hard to tell if we have learned anything from it though.

Excuse me but the Hawaiian Islands are no where near Asia.

Some people are realizing that government is not the answer as they see their freedoms slowly diminished. Sadly, I don’t think it is enough, as we have reached the tipping point. Romney’s 47% is now over 50% I fear.
