- A third of Republicans believe President Barack Obama poses an imminent threat to the United States, outranking concerns about Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
A Reuters/Ipsos online poll this month asked 2,809 Americans to rate how much of a threat a list of countries, organizations and individuals posed to the United States on a scale of 1 to 5, with one being no threat and 5 being an imminent threat.
The poll showed 34 percent of Republicans ranked Obama as an imminent threat, ahead of Putin (25 percent), who has been accused of aggression in the Ukraine, and Assad (23 percent). Western governments have alleged that Assad used chlorine gas and barrel bombs on his own citizens

The smart third.
It’s not just Republicans who see it.
This is Obama’s worldview, Al Reuters. Obama is more willing to negotiate with Al Qaeda, The Taliban, Communists, et al than he is willing to negotiate with the legally and popularly elected opposition party in this country.
FUREUTERs
The other two-thirds are NOT Republicans.
putin is not saddling the US with massive debt, growing the US nanny state to regulate everything from kids lunches to the puddles in your backyard. Putin is not pushing leftist racial agenda to agitate American blacks into staying with the Democrat party, and Putin is now allowing unobstructed immigration of the world’s least-educated, poorest central americans and muslims.
To Mitt Romney, though, he’s just a nice guy that’s a little misguided! Blind!
Putin is an @$$hole, a dictator and a thug. So is Obama.
Putin isn't yet ruling this country by diktat. Obama is.
Putin has to pay his propagandists directly. Obama does not.
This isn't emotion. It is the logical truth.
How about , “A third of Republicans KNOWS President Obama poses an imminent threat to America”?
The corollary is that 0bama & his supporters consider veterans, Tea Party, conservatives and Christians to be the number one threat.
I think it is a strong tie between the damage both do to our interest, the people and the safty of our world and country?
An enemy INSIDE your camp is FAR more dangerous than an enemy without.
Common sense.
I have little doubt that - ten years ago - if pollsters asked Democrats whether they feared George Bush more than Iran or al-Qaeda, most would say “yes.”
The Patriots in other words.
So you have to ask yourself the following question.
If our government was captured by a foreign Central banks, then who would they declare the biggest threat?
Answer: The Patriots
Oh yeah... no doubt about that!
That is quite a defense of Putin.
Concise & accurate.
Obama will be gone next election, the Russian threat won’t be.
The Russian threat won’t be gone even if Putin goes.
“Republicans see Obama as more imminent threat than Putin”
They don’t act like it.
They compete with one another kissing Barry’s a&^!
