U.S. Senator John McCains wife Cindy has joined in an intensifying fundraising effort in a Saturday hard sell for donations that comes as the incumbent, some call weakened, appears to be feeling the heat from dissatisfied constituents and impending primary challengers heading into 2016.
This new fundraising plea uses fear-invoking language in the first line of Cindys message, The challenges facing our nation right now are grave. Moving on, the message suggests Senator McCain is the tough leader who isnt afraid to do what is necessary in correcting the wayward path of America.
Potential McCain primary challenger Arizona State Senator Kelli Ward pointed out Arizonanss dissatisfaction with the decades-sitting Senator McCain in a Breitbart News Saturday interview, I know here in Arizona there is some dissatisfaction with the representation thats been going down, at least the last couple of terms hes been in office. I dont think that hes as popular as he used to be, and maybe that worries him that there are people out there looking and thinking and considering jumping into that race.
Fearful language continued later in Cindys fundraising message with another contention of Senator McCains vigilance, Every day when I turn on the news, I am horrified at the state of the world today, but I take comfort in knowing that leaders like my husband are working day and night to right the wrongs of the world.

When “The Boob” lurches to the Right, you know McCain is in trouble.
It’s over, John. It’s over. Retire with dignity.
Then tell your husband to retire. He's part of the problem.
So, an a long-time incumbent, what's been stopping him so far?
Retire already you POS! Arizona doesn’t any more of your BS.
She just doesn’t want to be stuck at home with him.
I’ve never understood what it is about being in the Senate that old farts like McCain, Thad Cochran, Kennedy and scores of others can’t live without.
It seems the idea of not being in the Senate to these guys is kind of like mommy taking her 3 year old sons favorite toy away from him and having then to listen to him scream!
Get a life you old goat! Nobody cares what you think anymore!
Time for Senator McCain to retire. All credit to him for his service and his time as a POW. But that does not entitle him to senator-for-life, one whose greatest legislative achievement was an attempted throttling of the First Amendment, who played a large role in giving us a President obama, and who never missed a chance to stab a conservative in the back.
The only-thing her pimping for the RINO will help, is to popularize his opponents.
“Ive never understood what it is about being in the Senate that old farts like McCain, Thad Cochran, Kennedy and scores of others cant live without.”
It’s an aristocracy. They REALLY believe that the nation can’t survive without their insight. Though when they’re replaced, we do just fine.
“warm in their seats, they were loath to leave them” John Adams wrote about aristocrats long ago.
ROTFLMAO!
When McCain ran in 2010, he said he wouldn’t run again. Just another lying politician. And he has already proven he will do nothing to stop the decline of our once great nation. Get some new blood in the Senate......the oldies just want to go along to get along. Our country is in serious trouble, **** or get off the pot!!
The perks and the lording-it-over the little people. And for many, the opportunity to make big, big bucks.
I believe it was the late Sen. Howard Baker who referred to the Senate as the “world’s best nursing home”.
Sorry, misremembered that. Looks like it was Ernest Hollings who’s credited with that observation.
You probably nailed it. In other words “out of control narcissistic ego”!
Lol...that's a valid reason.
The headline, and article, should read “Trophy Wife Cindy McCain” . . .
