When Ted Kennedy wrote his initial account of Chappaquiddick for the Edgartown police in 1969, after he scrawled the words Mary Jo in the first sentence he left a blank space because he had no idea what his victims last name was.
Thats one of the many facts about Ted Kennedy that you wont learn by visiting the new Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate. In case you havent been eagerly anticipating this magic moment, the Institute opens tomorrow amid yet another orgy of shameless bum-kissing of what was once called Americas First Family by the mainstream media.
It will be a monument to the bum who did more to destroy America than any other person. At Teddys funeral Obama called him the soul of the Democratic party.
Enough said.

Finally, the museum has an almost exact replica of Teddys Senate office and private restroom ...
there would be no bum kissing without bum kissers
Preach it, Howie!
Howie should tell us how he really feels about the “lyin” of the senate.
How delightfully disrespectful!
Ted was in Iowa, at a grain terminal with a group of invited farmers.
“How's the service out here on the Wabash?” Ted called out, as if he would do something about it when he got back to Washington.
This puzzled the Iowegians since it had been more than 100 years since the Wabash Railroad served Iowa.
I love Howie for keepin’ H8 alive.
They erected a fence around Kennedy’s grave in Arlington to keep out the homeless who are drawn there by the Scotch fumes that continue to rise from it to this day.
I can just imagine a child coming back from a school field trip and asking his parents “ what’s a waitress sandwich?”
I wish his treason in 1983 working with the Soviet Kremlin to oppose Ronald Reagan was more widely known.
Let’s also remember his words in 1986 for support of Simpson-Mazzoli “We’ll never ask the American people for another amnesty”. Liar.
Some day I hope the travesty of him being in Arlington can be rectified. He disgraces that hallowed ground.
I always suspected the Kopechne family was paid in some way or another for remaining silent after the drowning of their daughter by the drunken slob Teddy.
Yer dissin’ the Sot of the Senate.
During the 1980s Bork confirmation hearings, I was on a train trip through Washington DC and had a several hour layover. I got a pass and walked into the Senate. Kennedy was reading a diatribe against the confirmation of Bork. I could have spat right upon him.
That no one in her family spoke out always amazed me. No amount of money could have kept me silent.
Maybe they made an offer they couldn't refuse. "I'd hate to see something bad happen to your grandson..."
You don’t have to suspect. The info is in the public domain:
“The Kopechne family did not bring any legal action against Senator Kennedy, but they did receive a payment of $90,904 from the Senator personally and $50,000 from his insurance company.”

I love Howie.
Ted Kennedy was an a-hole as soon as the door closed. I met him on trips to DC a couple of times in the early 90’s. All glad handing and a real “chap.” The office door closes and he was uninformed, distracted, and looked everywhere but in your eye.
I guess if I had a blonde with me, and $10,000 bill wrapped around a tumbler filled with 18 year old scotch he would have remembered my name.
I never wish anyone dead. But I wasn’t really disappointed when he passed.
Ya think?
Perhaps they were threatened with a reunion with their daughter.
They were paid. I believe the family received $80,000 from
the Kennedys. The story came out a couple of years after the accident.
