Friday’s bombshell revelation that Hillary Clinton’s private email server has been scrubbed of all of the emails she sent as secretary of state has raised questions over the timeline of that erasure.
A review of her limited statements on the scandal suggests that it could have occurred as recently as this month.
Clinton’s attorney, David Kendall, sent a letter to the House Select Committee on Benghazi on Friday in response to its subpoena of Clinton’s emails and its request to inspect her server, which was registered to her Chappaqua, N.Y. home.
Kendall’s letter prompted South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy to issue a statement asserting that Clinton’s server has been “wiped clean.”
While it was already known that Clinton’s aides had deleted more than 30,000 emails she claimed were personal in nature, scrubbing the server leaves the appearance that Clinton took extra steps to ensure that it will be either impossible or extremely difficult to review those emails to see if she turned over all official records. Gowdy was unable to determine exactly when that erasure happened, saying only that it occurred sometime after Oct. 28. Kendall’s letter is vague on the matter.
That leaves the press and the public trying to divine meaning from the few statements Clinton has offered during the fallout from the scandal.
One potentially telling comment came during her March 10 press conference.
“The server contains personal communications from my husband and me,” Clinton said. “And I believe I have met all my responsibilities and the server will remain private, and I think the State Department will be able over time to release the records that were provided.”

I never, ever want to see the words “hillary”, “scrub” and “her private” in the same sentence ever again.
Yup, as an IT person that's what I would do. Swap out the hard drives with brand new ones, do an erase on the new ones. Even if someone attempts to recover data, you can't recover what was never there. Generally, IT people keep spare drives around ready to swap in if there is a failure in a RAID array, and the serial numbers are all within a close range. Unless someone had detailed records of the serial numbers of the hard drives when she was using the server, no one would know if the hard drives had been replaced. When I maintained servers (lots of them, some had up to 24 hard drives each), it wasn't unusual for a drive to fail in an array. I'd replace it, and the server would automatically rebuild the array. I had boxes of spare drives on shelves.
Hope they nail her on this criminality. The Clintons get away with too much wrong-doing.
At this point in time, what difference does it make?
Hillary, like Eric Holder will face nothing more that the sounds and furies of the other party’s “investigation”.

She probably scrubs her private server — more often than she scrubs her privates.
Gowdy knew back in August that Hillary was using personal email. He should’ve subpoenaed her servers when he first found out. It appears that they want to make her look bad without doing the heavy lifting of providing evidence of criminal wrongdoing.
So here is Hillary in the server checking the e-mails using an antique phone patch panel.....also good for those phone taps.

I have a suspicion that what Hillary ‘erased’ is out in the world somewhere. I am sure foreign countries like Russia and other so called ‘friends’ have been tracking input to/from Hillary and/or the Dept. of State for some time. Hillary and Bill are set-to-go for blackmail. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving couple. The damage to the US will be no concern of the Clintons.
