The GOP establishment doesn't know what to make of a Ted Cruz candidacy. The conventional wisdom is that he doesn't have a chance in hell. And they're right. He doesn't.
Of course, the conventional wisdom in 2007 was that the junior senator from Illinois with the Muslim-sounding name running against Hillary Clinton didn't have a chance in hell either.
That's what scares them.
