Let’s beseech God for godliness to rule our eternal souls too, not just our earthly institutions. What might be taking shape here in the country is but illustrative. It won’t last forever. Can we take the lesson as to what God deserves among our eternal souls?
I agree. Any godliness/righteousness that a man has is not his own. Christ is our righteousness; anything else is self-righteousness. The hope of our nation is not in politics per se. Our institutions have been corrupted by godless men. This nation will change for the better when born-again men and women become the head in: government, media, education, arts, business and yes - the church house.
