A CFO who drew widespread condemnation after berating a Chick-fil-A employee in a video that went viral three years ago is out of work and on food stamps, according to a published report.

Adam Smith, 37, was the CFO of a medical device manufacturer in Arizona until the summer of 2012, when he started protested Chick-fil-A's stance on gay marriage to an employee at a drive-thru.

LOL. What's funny is that CFA employs homosexuals and offers them and their partners the same benefits as married couples. Their opposition to homosexual marriage isn't even a company policy. It's the beliefs of Mr. Cathy, who recently just passed away.

Chick-fil-A should offer him a job.

Hmmmmm. That really isn't a bad idea...

No this man lost his job after making a poor choice.

He obviously continues to make poor choices.

Chick-fil-A should offer him a job.. Maybe that would help him feel purposeful if he could clean toilets to help feed his family.

That wouldn't be smart. You'd have to hire an armed guard to watch him full time.

I'm sure, however, that senior management would be willing to meet with him about his (lack of) spiritual life.

Had a high school friend of mine become a 20+ year Chick-fil-a franchisee. While married, he had an affair with another woman. Chick-fil-a learned of his decided failure of probity.

He was forced under corporate policy, requiring upholding of exemplary moral behavior, to relinquish his franchise.

My question then is in states where homosexual "marriage" has been allowed, what happens if one faggot- "spouse" is found to be cheating on another such packer-of-fudge-"spouse" where the cheater-"packer" happens to be a franchisee?

Nice to see some justice, but did he lose his job because of this or just because he is stupid?

I can’t say I feel all that sorry for the family - they should have DUMPED HIM for that stunt. That’s the kind of crap you do BEFORE you get married (or after you’re divorced). I did some analogous at work well before getting married...luckily it didn’t wreck my career.

Tough luck, Smith.

Maybe Chick-fil-A can get you a lead on a job plucking feathers in a chicken factory.

Something tells me his medical device company was looking for a way to dump him - and he certainly gave them it.

I'm sure he's holding out for a management position.

I'm certain they returned the $5000 deposit that is required before they give you the franchise.

Getting a CFA franchise is an honor and only honorable people can get one.

I would not doubt that that was the case although since he started with them in the mid-1970's I do not know what his deposit requirement was at the time.

The question I had was would Chick-fil-a treat a homo "marriage" the same way if one gay cheated on the other, since they don't recognize the institution in the context of fags anyway?

I am sure they can put him charge of both the Men’s and the Women’s rooms then.
