Blue State Blues: What if McCain Had Gone ‘Full Bibi’ on Obama in 2008?
Breitbart.com ^ | 03/27/2015 | Joel B. Pollak

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to face harsh criticism, at home and abroad, for remarks he made on Election Day warning that Arabs were being bused to the polls and voting in large numbers, threatening the future of the right-wing government. Netanyahu has since apologized to the Arab community. From a purely political perspective, however, the only thing that matters is that he won. That raises the question: what if Republicans had done something similar in 2008 and 2012?

What if, for example, Sen. John McCain had faced the American people squarely and said:

My fellow Americans, there are efforts underway by ACORN and other far-left groups to bus minority voters to the polls to elect Barack Obama, who attended a radical, racist church for 20 years where Jeremiah Wright preached America deserved 9/11. If elected, Obama promises to transform America into something the Founders never intended it to be. You need to go to the polls and save your country.

John McCain was chosen specifically BECAUSE he wouldn’t do that.

I still don’t know if McStain got scared off or paid off but he threw that election. It was evident to anyone paying attention.

McCain threw the race on purpose so that Obama could win. Anyone who supported the nomination of McCain as the GOP presidential candidate was an idiot.

John McCain was chosen specifically BECAUSE he wouldn’t do that.

That and his own foreign birth prevented him from questioning obama's lack of bona fides.

Yes. I remember that he dismissed they guy introducing him at campaign stops because the guy used B. Hussein Obamadork’s middle name. When adding Palin to the ticket got him too close in the polls, McCain suspended his campaign. Whatever else he was trying to do, McCain was not there to win.

I’m afraid you are right. At least Romney acted like he actually wanted to win.

....."McCain threw the race on purpose so that Obama could win"....

I will never forgive the man for that....McCain is as dangerous as Zero imo....and in some ways worse as he pretends he is something which he isn't.

Remember that McLame was trying to get picked as the DEMOCRAT candidate for vice-president candidate with John F’n Kerry, and stated publicly he’d be willing to switch parties to be Kerry’s running mate. This is a guy who only cares about personal power, and he’ll betray anyone to get and keep that, including the American people as we found out in 2008.

McCain bites, always did, always will. He as well as Romney basically let Obama win, because of their fear of being labeled racist if they stood up to the incompetent fool

I agree, he never intended to win that election. Proof was the dinner where he told everyone not to fear Obama that he will make a good president. That was before the election.

Now, the question is - how could such a conspiracy be so widespread?

Why would everyone on both sides of the elite want Obama to come in and destroy the country/economy so thoroughly.

It brings to mind, eerily, the episode of Southpark following the 2008 election where it showed McCain and Obama in cahoots.

The Jeremiah Wright story came out during the campaign.

It didn't hurt Obama's prospects -- or if it did, the economic crisis restored whatever he lost.

So maybe McCain figured Jeremiah Wright, Acorn, Alinsky, etc. wouldn't help him any.
