That’s a line of reasoning worthy of, well, a muslim. Using the same logic, I can “prove” you’re a muslim.
A. Some muslims commit mass murder with aircraft.
B. A German guy committed mass murder with an aircraft.
Therefore, C: The german guy is a muslim.
This is the logical fallacy of the undistributed middle, I believe. Google it.

The most idiotic attorney in the world knows that if he makes 10 assertions in court, and three are disproven, he greatly weakens his case over what it would have been had he limited his assertions to the 7 that were actually true.
You are right on target. It distresses one that more and more people on our side have adopted the mind set of the Left, that being letting emotion overrule logic and fact. Since it has become both sides of the political divide, people as a whole live lives totally within their own bubble. We are all becoming like what Colin Cowheard calls “Hockey Guy.” The guy who loves Hockey and thinks everyone else is stupid and crazy because they do not share his passion. They cannot except the FACT that they belong to a small minority, thus they lash out at everyone else, instead of enjoying their fandom on its own merits.
How about remove the pilots? Global Hawk already flies itself.

About 5 years ago an Egyptian pilot drove his plane into the ocean while giving praise to allah. So the question is relevant.
As far as this MD’s note is concerned, I know that on many labels for prescription meds here in the US, it is stated NOT to drive or operate machinery until you are sure you won’t suffer drowsiness or have some other detrimental side effects, (and I assume things are similar in Germany)..so I wonder if Lubitz’s doctor prescribed some medication that MIGHT cause such problems, issued the note recommending he not fly, and Lubitz chose to ignore the note because he thought it would end his career..so he decided to end his career in his own way, meaning to crash the plane..
We have the voice recorder data, and there’s no allah-praisin’ going on. Isn’t that relevant?
I am all for exploration for links to islam when stuff like this happens, but in the absence of any such links to date, and with plausible non-islam evidence emerging, it’s time to let go of the longing to hang this around Mohammed’s neck.
