Several sources mention the angle involving relationship issues with his girlfriend. Anyone know if this alleged “girlfriend” has been located safe and sound yet? After all, Andreas Guenter Lubitz, calmly and methodically took an entire plane full of passengers on his suicide mission.
They were ready to pull his flight certificate due to his mental condition?
You would have thought they would have found a GF within hours of the accident.

FOX reported this morning that the girlfriend rushed to the scene where the families were gathering when she heard of the crash. I also heard yesterday that the pilot’s families were separated from the passenger’s families at the scene when it became known that Lubitz flew the plane into the mountain.

If, since he became a licensed co-pilot for the airline..some 18 months ago..he was flying much LESS than expected..there has to be a reason for that..

Andreas Lubitz, 28, intentionally started the descent of flight 4U9525 while the pilot was locked out of the cockpit, French prosecutors said yesterday.
Reports this morning suggested the pilot may have been badly affected by a “relationship crisis” and was struggling to cope following a break-up with his girlfriend - who he was due to marry next year.
He is said to have shared an apartment in Dusseldorf - the destination of the doomed plane - with a woman whose surname is Goldbach.

All of them were with the Luftansa subsidiary from what I've read. In the U.S. a pilot has to have 1,500 hours before they can be hired as a copilot with any airline.

Depression would explain suicide.
Schizophrenia would explain crashing a plane full of people, as would Islam.
Remember the discussion yesterday about his having only a Grade 3 medical clearance, which was due to expire in June?
