well I agree that there is some evidence...is it true evidence?...in America, rarely I hope, cops and prosecutors "fix" the evidence to suit their needs....did this happen in this case?...

I'm turned off on Amanda Knox because she was too young, too good looking, too rich and fancy free and she partyed her way across Italy it appears...

but Occam Razor's.......what is more likely...a black man with some dubious past assaulting an unwilling young woman and killing her, or Amanda Knox, not so smart shallow American young woman?....

I know which way I lean....

If I want some good food, hot MILFs, or sharp-looking clothes, I would go to Italy.

Anything else? Not on your life. DEFINITELY not their “justice” system.

Amanda Knox may be as guilty as sin, or as innocent as a lamb, it doesn’t matter. I wouldn’t trust anything decided in an Italian court or printed by an Italian newspaper.

I believe she is 100% innocent, however your post is very fair.

Yeah..she’s innocent. In most of the posts on this thread you can see an under current of jealousy or puritan disapproval of her lifestyle. That’s why they want her guilty.

Or some might simply resent that she tried to implicate an innocent man.

If she wasn’t good looking nobody would care.

I think you are on to something...If we did what they wanted we would have to jail every Democrat and every moderate Republican.

The guys that say they can tell if someones guilty by just looking at their eyes, they take the cake

She was gorgeous I grant you, but the most recent photos of her have her looking pale and unhealthy and not so gorgeous.

I would hope that had nothing to do with it... sure if she was a rough tough looking girl might not help her, but then on the other hand some are hating on her because she is a beauty.

I happen to know first hand about how easy it is to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, it`s really not that hard...in my situation it turned out well but could have easily gone the other way.

I had seen a documentary about the case a while ago and I thought they demonstrated pretty clearly that it was the African immigrant.

I thought she was probably guilty at first, but the more I read about it the more I’m sure that -nothing- the Italian authorities have ever said can be trusted. The prosecutor is an obsessive nutcase who has repeatedly lied about supposed “evidence” that never existed. He’s got several former cases that have been vacated because even in the loose-goosy world of italian rules of evidence they didn’t hold up. The prosecutor loves cameras and celebrity.

I don’t think she did it.

They have their murderer in Rudy Guede. They let him get away at first, but he is definitely the guilty party. Anyone believing otherwise should read more about Giuliano Mignini, the most corrupt and crazy "prosecutor" possible. Then they should read about Douglas Preston's experience with Mignini.

Knox is loopy, but I don't believe a word coming from the bumbling cops or the bizarre rantings of the bat guano crazy prosecutor.

Nothing like the dead roomate thing to get the puritans all excited.

I agree. They did not find Knox, or Sollecito’s DNA in the murder room, yet Rudy Guede’s was all over the place! Mignini’s explanation: that Knox and Sollecito, who know nothing about forensics (Not that it would have mattered anyway), bought cleaning supplies and cleaned up their DNA but left Guede’s behind! Magic DNA cleaner! Not to mention that the idiot Chief forensic officer, Patrizia Stupidoni, stored alleged evidence in her freezer next to her tortelinni! What a bunch of ass-clowns!

+1.

Throw into the mix the principle of no double jeopardy. Yeah, it’s their system and they get to set the rules, but it also means I’ll never set foot in their country.

And, regardless of Knox’s indeterminate guilt, the fact that the Italians are putting her in double jeopardy should be a barrier to her extradition.

I am praying for a miracle for Amanda, but suspect they are crafting a way to give the boyfriend a new trial but not Amanda.

I pray they do what nobody expects and say that Amanda is forever free
