One thing that is CERTAIN in that the Saudis are literally unable to defend themselves. They are the poster children for a culture that treasures indolence. Going form grub-eating desert wanderers to unimaginable wealth without the intervening adoption of civilization will do that every time.
Saudi Arabia is paradoxically the wealthiest as well as the easiest nation for the militant barbarian koranimals to pick off and conquer.
