I will not engage you further.
Take your personal insults elsewhere.
Well, with all due respect, I think you’re being underly sensitive.
I haven’t criticized Walker for doing what he did. I agree it’s a legitimate political tactic. IF I was a governor running against a one-term senator (no matter how impressive his resume), I would do the same thing.
But I think it’s worth noting and calling him out on it.
Obama and Democrats by name and position should be the focus right now. Anything else is unacceptable.
truth is not a personal insult...though it is insulting to some.
This, both from the candidate and sadly, from some of his supporters.
Walker has been corrected by his right several times already, but if you try pointing that out to some people, you're a Hillary supporter.
Obama should be impeached for this but the dems in the senate would block it. I wonder when the pressure will become so intense that the dems will tell him he has to go ala Nixon. it may happen.
So so true. It just amazes me candidates can't figure it out. Newt couldn't figure it out, and he was the BEST at that last cycle....led on two different occasions by a mile, and couldn't figure out why. It was precisely because he was complimenting the other candidates while slicing and dicing Obama, the media, judges, academia nuts, union thugs, etc.
And Cruz has made it clear he'll not criticize other conservatives, period. That may change, I hope not, because people will rally to an attack on Obama and the Dems....they will not rally to attacks on other Republicans. This is what the beltway consultants, and some of Walker's people, cannot understand.
It does seem that the hard core pro Walkers are almost bot like....their guy or no one. I just don’t understand that mentality. Everyone one who is lining up behind Cruz that I can think of, with one exception here on FR, also likes and respects Walker a lot.
To me, it makes no sense to like one of these guys and not like the other. They both represent so much that we need in the Oval.

Maybe I am misreading, but I do not see anything nefarious about Walker's comment. It's something Cruz knows he will have to deal with.
Yeh try to imagine Ted Cruz trading 5 terrorist for a deserter. I don’t think so.
I agree. Walker is hard-nosed, and we need that. But in my mind he's a clear second choice to Cruz on matters of policy, especially in social conservatism, which Cruz wears on his sleeve and Walker does not.
That doesn't disqualify him, nor should it. In fact, we've already seen Walker move rightward on illegal immigration and abortion and after his whole Iowa communications fiasco, we may see him move rightward on ethanol too. Those are all good things.
But if Walker were better than Cruz on any of them, I'd support Walker. He's not, so I support Cruz. I don't get the vitriol either.
Obama did all he could to cover for this deserter. Disgusting, again.
First, these guys don’t utter a single syllable without a specific reason for that syllable. Second, Walker has gone on this “we need a governor” line ad nauseum. Third, what’s been going on the last 3 days? Huge momentum for Cruz - on talk radio and on Drudge and other websites - domains Walker has dominated for the previous six weeks until Monday.
If you just drill down to one comment, and do not filter the big picture, you’ll miss it. But this is not accidental.
And yes, Cruz and the other Senators will have to deal with it. That doesn’t mean Walker or Jindal or Jebby boy should be pushing it - especially the governor of a small state.
? ?
No, put down your kool aid and think for a minute. The executive thing might just backfire....Jeb has been an executive over a state four times the size of Wisconsin with a far more diverse population. Perry has been the governor of a state almost six times the population of Wisconsin, again, with a far more diverse population.
A state is not a state is not a state. Being governor of Texas, Florida, NY, California, etc, is comparable to being a head of state, since all those states are bigger than most countries in the world. I mean, Wisconsin is not Rhode Island, but it ain’t Florida either.
Of course not. But, I fail to understand how anyone would expect Walker to not do the "compare and contrast" routine. This is 101 level Politics.
Do I wish that Cruz's announcement had driven every other potential from the race? Yes I do. But, that ain't happening and politics ain't beanbag, is it?
