Obama is running circles around the entire Congress, which is made up of what? All kinds of experienced politicians.

Says it all, the GOP "leadership" has experience in being wusses. Go Ted Cruz!

Rick Scott governor of FL hasn’t been exactly a stellar conservative at all. No repealing of Obamacare and the handling of the Trayvon case was appalling.

A big reason Obama didn’t fizzle in his campaign(s) is that he is “No Drama Obama.” He didn’t let criticism bother him and often used it as a lever to his advantage. Obama, then and now, never lets criticism bother him because he doesn’t care what other people think. He couldn’t care less.

It really reminds me of Reagan who was the same way. The only thing Reagan cared about was his mission, to bring back freedom and right the American ship of state because he loved America. Obama has that same laser focus, but for the opposite reasons because he doesn’t love America and wants to change her “fundamentally” (meaning from a free country to a socialist country).

Like Reagan and Obama, Cruz must be focused and let the criticisms go, basically ignoring them except to turn them around to advance his efforts. Easy to say, hard to do. Cruz has to truly not care about what others think of him. I don’t know if Cruz is that kind of guy. I don’t know who is. They are a rarer breed than I once thought.

Cruz gives middling honor to God, which is way above where most other politicians are. This alone is going to propel him to the top.

Well I hope so. I hope a good guy gets in there but honestly, America’s salvation and restoration won’t be coming from some “savior-politician.” At this point, our best chance is when the states and the people decide 1) that enough is enough, 2) that the Constitution and the freedom it protects is more important than anything else, and, 3) at the state level, to begin rejecting and nullifying unconstitutional federal acts.

Life to America! Life to America!

Or, in Cruz's homeland, Cuba, "Viva America!".

Well, really, a new consciousness of God will be needed. The virtues channeled through the US Constitution are only present by the grace of God. If God is rejected, then the Constitution turns into the devil’s playground.

May America live.

In the life of God. We ought to get really tired of any other kind of life, which is really a sort of death because it is earthbound.

Agreed. The real answer for us is another Great Awakening. Many deny this, but we are in desperate need of God to once again save and bless our country which he planned before time began and miraculously brought into being. There's hope, I think, because I don't think God is finished with us yet. I think there's maybe one more major world-wide sweep into His Kingdom before it all comes crashing down and I think America will be part of that.

We really aren’t privileged to say what the details of the Lord’s plans are (beyond the generalities of the Bible).

I think it’s kind of sad that we would need the appearance of a Cruz before becoming cognizant of what the Lord always did say through the Bible. But that is better than nothing.

Yeah it is - I had heard Krauthammer’s idiotic comments - heard Levin’s take, and heard Rush’ take.
