instead of seeking a judgement on just his own candidacy, he should seek to have the exact definition of natural born citizen brought out into the light to dispel the bs from the 0bama bots.

most americans are born as natural born citizens, as they were born on the soil to 2 citizen parents.
someone with one citizen parent and one foreign parent, has a choice of citizenship. i myself am a US citizen and a british citizen, as i was born on US soil to a US father and a Scottish mother. since i was born a US and british citizen, i was not naturally a US citizen... as i had a choice.
the only hook to US citizenship at birth for tcruz is his mother. but, at birth, he was also canadian by being born on the soil, cuban by his father, and possibly british by descent as canada was a british protectorate (i’d have to check that last one)
point is, he’s obviously not even close to a natural born citizen.
for simplicity, remember it like this:
a natural born citizen is a citizen naturally, as there were no alternatives at birth.

any anchor baby is a citizen at birth, but they also hold citizenship from the parents country. these people are citizens and as such, can hold any office defined in the Constitution... EXCEPT the office of the president.
why? because the founders wanted to make sure the person that held the office did not have split allegiances, at least by birth.

the founders had to make a special carve out for those people born prior to the creation of the country. the qualification was just ‘citizen’ as natural born would not be possible. later on, with children born of foreign parents, they wanted to insure foreign kings couldn’t run for president. hence the natural born requirement.
if the child can claim citizenship in another country at birth, then it is not a natural born citizen, though it is born as a citizen. there is a difference.
as a simple example, if william and kate flew to NYC and gave birth in a US hospital (instead of the british consulate), the child would be british as well as a US citizen. indeed, that child could grow up to be the future king of england and, if this harvard hack were to be believed, could also run to be president of the united states. this is a situation the founders expressly wanted to avoid... hence the special wording.

My son and my daughter were both born in Germany as natural born citizen. You know why. While I was a German citizen when they were born; seven years apart and coincidentally in the same US Army hospital, my husband, was a US Citizen having been born and raised in Upstate NY. His parents family have been here since the 1800s
if you were still a german citizen when they were born, they were born US citizens... but also german citizens. as such, they are not natural born citizens
if you wanted them to be natural born citizens, the lack of which only disqualifies them from one position in the country, you would have had to become a US before they were born. this use to mean you would have had to denounce your german citizenship but that was negated by bjclinton.
this was my situation, as my mother was still a Scottish citizen when i was born (and didn’t become a US citizen for another 8 years)
