Boehner 'shocked' and 'baffled' by report Israel spied on US talks with Iran

Speaker of the House says he received no information from Israel on nuclear talks as was suggested in 'Wall Street Journal' report.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said Tuesday that he was "shocked" and "baffled" by a Wall Street Journal report published Tuesday morning that claimed Israel had spied on US nuclear talks with Iran, collecting information that was used to lobby him and his colleagues in Congress to drum up opposition to an emerging nuclear deal.

"I'm not sure what the information was, but I'm baffled by it," Boehner told reporters on Capitol Hill on Tuesday.

"No information [was] revealed to me whatsoever," he added.

Obama Admin is trying to turn the public against Israel.

I have noticed that most things Obama tries fail. His whole presidency is a failure.

it is a case of collateral espionage.

Spying on Iran yielded collateral data on the Obama failure

If it is an American doing it, it is treason and they, anyone skyping on the U.S., should join Pollard for the rest of their miserable, worthless lives. I am curious if Obama can put names and arrests to his accusations, elese is this just political posturing.

I’d be shocked if the Israelis did not spy on the talks.

Based on the current newspapers it's a good bet every country on earth is spying on the Iran Nuke Talks. Israel would be foolish not to do it. And they don't do foolish things.

Netanyahu needs, through American courts, to take a restraining order out on Obama.

Definition:

A Restraining Order is a court order intended to protect you from further harm from someone who has hurt you; to keep the abuser away from you, or to stop harassing you

At the risk of being overly technical, under the Constitution, treason consists ONLY of leving war against the United States, or giving aid and comfort to its enemies. So, spying for an ally (Israel) is, strictly speaking, not treason. It’s why Pollard was never charged with “treason,” and is a large reason why he is currently rotting in jail instead of dead.

On what grounds? That is absurd.

“I’d be shocked if the Israelis did not spy on the talks.”

When both “leaders” want you exterminated? You’d be a fool not to.

“Shocked and baffled”, that’s pretty weak, as usual.

What could Israel tell congress that we didn't already know?

We've already heard about the 10 year deal....where the US okays Nuclear weapon for Iran after 10 years.

Make the bas***** sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty...not say...just sit on it for 10 years.

As you pointed out it was funny to see the Obama admin claim to be outraged after the Obama admin’s spies spied on Israel and discovered that Israel was spying on talks that concern Israel’s survival.

Israel admitted to Pollard later on. And you’ll note that Israel didn’t say, “We have not ...” but rather we do not, which is present tense. I would believe Israel in what they say, but I would not believe Obama and his administration!

"I’d be shocked if the Israelis did not spy on the talks."

I hope they did spy since it's the only way we'd ever know what concessions the White Hut was offering Iran. I can't believe though that there haven't been a few people involved in these talks who hasn't blabbed to outsiders at some point since the talks began.

I say good. Our serial traitor president needs to be watched like a hawk. I wonder if they have info that proves he is a traitor. If so, we should make expedient use of it.

I don't think Obama ever expected negotiations with Iran to be successful. Going into negotiations with Iran, the Obama team always had a plan to claim failure would be the fault of Israel. Even if Israel were spying on these talks, I'm not sure that they would have been the ones to leak details of the negtiations, especially with the logical conclusion that they were never going to happen anyway.

Rational beings all not there is no good coming form any negotiations with Iran at this point.

My contention is, going in, that the plan was for the administration to strategically leak and to blame it on Israeli spying.

Now with the letter to Iran from the senators, they have been given the ultimate out to also blame the GOP for the obvious failure of the talks. Watch for the crap to his the fan and Israel being forced to militarily defend themselves again and Obama refusing to help because it is all the Israeli's fault
