Glenn Beck said that he was called by Cruz on Friday. Cruz said that he prayed with his family for two hours recently about his decision. He said that he is a peace. He knows what he is up against. But he feels he must do this.

I have been praying for Cruz twice a day since I heard the rumor Saturday. Please Freepers join me in humbly beseeching God to guide our Sen. Cruz and give him strength to do as Mark Levin said tonight, “Rally the country to come to our own salvation.”

Ted Cruz is my type of politician — a bipartisan offender. If both sides have issues with you, that is good. He stands up for what he believes in.
You’re right that Cruz will fold on amnesty like the others, but it is not tact and unfortunately only rank political calculation that makes him avoid saying so when asked. There are so many here already that, especially with chain migration, closing the border now is insufficient—we will be lost to Leftist, Latin voting ever after.
It actually was diiferent. McAmnesty was born in the Canal Z zone mikitary base deemed US soil by statute. Check it out.

I pray Father, build up Ted Cruz and set his feet on a path to help restore our nation, Your nation. Bring this nation into repentance for pushing You out of the public square, from our institutions. For sacrificing our babies on the alter of Molech and supporting the perversion of Your natural creation. Wow!I look at Ted’s picture and I see a maturity, a determination in his eyes, a warmth and it gave me the chills. This is the leader we’ve been praying for. Thank you Dear Lord for hearing our prayers. It will be up to US to support him on his way to victory in our White House. Stay the course, everyone, stay focused and stay positive. May God bless Ted Cruz and his family.
I do think the only reason God hasn't abandoned this nation, and HE has good reason to do so, is we are experiencing His Grace and Mercy despite ourselves.
