He’s definitely scared then. So scared he’s willing to try and convince any conservatives still left there that he is the lesser of two evils.
Why not? There are countless clueless “lesser of two evils” on our side. It’s worked for the last two elections, hasn’t it?
I know a guy who lives in one of the cop ghettoes on the South Side and he told me a couple of years ago an explicitly Tea Party type almost won the State Rep race for his district. So its not like there are not some voters who will trend that way. IMO what Rahm is paying the price for is the treatment his media buddies gave the official black candidate the last election, they even poured the “racist” label over his head, quite brutal I thought and unnecessary.
