“Every time you have the spring forward or fall back, you get in the coffee shops, churches and everybody’s complaining about it and all of a sudden it dawned on me it is kind of a hassle,” said Texas state Rep. Dan Flynn...”
How is it a hassle?
Almost every clock automatically adjusts itself.
Lots of clocks and watches don’t do it automatically.
Obviously you do not have a house of antique clocks. Not ony do I have to set all of the clocks at home (more than 20) I have to set all of the clocks at work, including the time clock. The time clock is a real hassle. My commands to the computer frequently don't "take" and it still reads the old time on Mon. mornings when the employees check in. I keep telling them that the clock keeps their hours in increments, so as long as I don't change it during the day when they are there, it doesn't matter. But I get a lot of complaints anyway.
It's a hassle for the human biology.
That's enough for me. I ignore clocks when governments start making stupid demands.

Not if you have real clocks rather then a computer chip run item.
Kids don’t.
Half my clocks don’t.
I get up best with morning light, but you DST bastards needlessly deny me that several months a year.
I’ve written lots of software that needs accurate time but accommodating DST is hard or impossible because congress keeps changing the dates, different locales do it different if at all, some serious repercussions may result from not handling edge cases properly, and is thus relegated to sheer technical frustration and implemented with a stupid “DST on or off” switch.
You have a very strange collection of clocks. Or maybe just a bunch of cellphones and electronic “machines” and very few normal clocks.
Many people's bodies don't adjust readily, particularly the nightowl types who are already social pariahs because their biorhythms don't wake up early, even if they get up and go to work. They tend to hit their stride in the afternoon when others are waning and watching the clock to go home. It's very stressful, especially on families with children, to start hauling them out of bed earlier, even if you have tried to ease them up to it the week before. And for older people, it takes longer every year for the body to adjust.
Secondly, with people traveling and living at great distances, it is difficult to remember when to call overseas clients or family, or to have them call you, when there is a patchwork of DST and GMT, etc.
Thirdly, government has moved the "spring forward" date earlier than in past years, so even people whose minds unconsciously prepare for repeated annual events are getting hammered by that.
Maybe in your house..
I’ve got non digital watches, electrical timers for lights & watering that all need to be manually....twice a year.
Let’s dump daylight savings!
