Live up to transparency hype

SEATTLE (Tribune News Service) — President Barack Obama continues to boast that he runs “the most transparent administration in history” with a straight face. But the claim doesn’t even pass the giggle test. His administration has an abysmal record of prosecuting more whistleblowers than any predecessor. His administration’s compliance with the Freedom of Information Act has gotten worse, rather than better, the longer he is in office. And he routinely sidesteps the seasoned White House press corps to sit for interviews with the likes of YouTube stars. Add to the list of transgressions the new disclosure that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appears to have ignored federal guidelines by using only a personal email account. She also made no apparent effort to save her emails for posterity until just a few months ago, more than a year after she resigned, according to The New York Times.

Obama's conception of transparency is modeled on Star Trek's Romulan cloaking device: when something's transparent you can't see it.

A healthy democracy requires an involved citizenry and an aggressive press. Since most of the press has been asleep for 6 years, they are only learning now just how awful Obama’s administration has been at complying with lawful requests. And the liberal’s answer to the slightest questioning of the president is answered with a race card.

Surprised much, liberals, at the status quo? You shouldn't be, you put it there you morons. Though I'm SURE that they'll suddenly find their involvement (look, the president looks like a chimp) and aggressive investigations as soon as a conservativish person is in the White House.
