Jeb Bushs nascent presidential campaign has already won over many of the big-dollar donors and GOP elites. What he needs to prove now is that he can win over the crowds.
Until visits to South Carolina and other early states this month, the former Florida governor hadnt been on the campaign trail for himself in 13 years. He hadnt sold himself to the deeply conservative, tea party-inspired crowds that have emerged as a driving Republican force in the Obama era. Hed never snapped so many selfies with admirers.

Jeb for prez. Not Insane.
Not a chance. Conservatives have had enough of the Bush clan for one life time.
I know several RINOS at work who will vote for him. I think they've been dumbed down to the point that 1.2% to the right of the most liberal candidate strikes them as "conservative enough".
” Jeb is the front man for accumulating money to bribe other GOPers to vote for open borders.”
Thanks. This is exactly what I figured.
not even that bean dog.
As a member of “the base” - NOPE!
Will not vote for Jeb.
Jeb’s REAL problem is the deep and superb bench of contenders we have this cycle. Jeb can not just blow into town, lay money on the table and appear high minded. Not this time.
These contenders are, to the man (and woman), just as smart, savy and way more conservative than he is. The other governor contenders have each proven their chops in their respective states.
Jeb can not hope to stand out in such a talented crowd as this. Besides, he has more negative baggage than the others, imho, is plagued with the “dynasty” label, is from the wrong generation and unfortunately still “reads” his speeches— a taboo, old school and it paints him as passionless.
Jeb fires me up about as much as a wet fart.
Hell NO
No more Establishment buffoonery anymore. A candidate committed to shrinking government, not borrow and spend, along with promoting Natural Rights and legal citizens. If not Third Party/write-in.
No, because the base and the establishment have conflicting goals.
FATTY GET LOST
No, and I have already gotten emails from Barbara Bush and Jeb Jr. on how I should give them money for the campaign.
Jeb couldn’t fire up a pile of gas-soaked rags.
In a word: NO!
This is an elaborate charade to pave the way for the uni-party’s candidate of choice. Say hello to President Hillary Clinton.
LOL!...just LOL!!
The libs are trying to frame this thing as a choice between a liberal and another liberal. That may fire up the base all right, but it’d only be the Democrat base. “The entire political spectrum from A to B!” I don’t think so.
