Looks like we have Open Carry past the Tx Senate. Do you figure that SOBStraus will work out a way to sabotage it in the house?

IOW, can he keep it from reaching Gov. Abbott, who has already said he will sign it if it reaches his desk?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FWIW, I've said many times that, tactically, I prefer concealed carry in most social situations. But, I do feel that I should be free to remove my jacket, without being treated as a criminal...
That has always been interesting text. As if the entire universe is destroyed
Nothing good will come of this.
Playing God when you are certainly NOT God is all sorts of wrong.
I watched a documentary on the LHC. At the end, in a room filled with scientists, the speaker got up and gave a really good sermon and then asked everyone if they believed in the Holy Boson. The only thing missing was the snake-handling.
Collider experiments at or near the new 13TEV energy could be significant in more ways than one:
Those supersymmetric particles might not just help us to develop a powerful equation though. They could also explain one of the most enigmatic theories in physics: Dark Matter. "Most of the universe is made of Dark Matter," explains Barr. "That is stuff that pulls gravitationally on matter around it, but which doesn't interact with light, so is invisible. But it's very hard to detect." Dark matter theoretically accounts for up 80 per cent of the mass of the universe—but we've never yet observed a particle with the qualities we think it should exhibit.
As far as "making the picture complete", this could be even more significant than BICEP-2... (See Isaiah 45:7)
I expect I’m wrong about who was pres when it was cancelled. FR is a good place to get corrected.
I checked and the SSC was officially cancelled Oct. 21, 1993 but there was a vote to pull the plug in the summer of 1992 (when 41 was still in office) but the Senate saved it. Reagan started the project in 1987, projected cost of $4B, soared to $11B when cancelled. I was sad just like when Ares was cancelled in 2010, so short-sighted.
And as a side note, Black Hawk Down was Oct. 3, 1993.
So that’s why I feel the way I do in the morning. Loaded with Higgs Bosons. Yep, there, I’m looking at the label on the beer bottle and there it sez, “Higgs Bosons - 1200% of minimum daily requirement”. At least we got truth in labeling...
They better be careful or this might happen.
...and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
Physicists are aware of this possibility...
This article contains several glaring errors. First, the Higg’s boson gives all Fermionic matter their masses. This is all the particles in the Standard Model. These particles are light enough to be detected by our current technology. It does not appear to give dark matter particles their masses since these are far more massive than the Higg’s itself and would require a coupling constant of greater than 1. The article says the Higg’s has no mass but that is incorrect. The Higg’s interacts with itself to create the 126 MeV mass that the LHC measured. Also, dark matter is only about 26 percent of the mass/energy of the universe. Dark energy makes up about 70%.
Well the sun will be like sack cloth today. It is the eclipse between the 4 blood moons.
FR is a great place to get facts corrected. I knew I didn't know for sure, but someone on FR would set it right. ;)
