So, all the world will know what is in the emails except us, right? LOL! That’s transparency for you! I hope it has some damning stuff on both Obama and Hillary...not to mention several other admin thugs.

No wonder Hillary had to make up the Benghazi video story. Al Qaeda knew exactly what she was doing, and what she would do to respond when attacked.
Perhaps Hillary planned the attack in Benghazi to cover up her collaborating with and arming up muslim terrorist and the whole lax security with her emails is a way to explain how the terrorist knew Stevens would be there.

Also I don’t believe someone as paranoid as Hillary with the “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy” out to get her is going to have lax security for her emails.
When she set the email server up she had been under Secret Service protection for at least 16 years so she knew about security.

The Secret Service gave her physical security of her disks. No one was going to break into her home and get her server with the Secret Service around. I’m sure they had no idea Hillary had a email server in her home to circumvent the State Department’s security. She also needed absolute internet security.
We already know that Guccifer hacked into Sydney’s emails. From that hack, Guccifer learned Hillary’s email address. So I’m sure there are foreign governments that could do the same.
In 2009 there was supposed to be an assassination plot against Hillary with one of her trips overseas, Kenya IIRC.
The information as to where Hillary was going to be on what day had to originate from Hillary’s State Dept.
The Secret Service would have checked where the info came from including the possibility someone hacked into someone’s email including Hillary’s.

If the Secret Service investigated her emails then, you would have thought she would have been told not to use her personal email for her State Department email. Obama said he found out that she was using her personal email from the news reports. Obama is in the chain of command for the Secret Service, not Hillary. Seems like they would have reported to someone outside the State Department about the use of this personal email at that time, if they had bothered to check. I do not believe that the Secret Service set up a private secure email server in Hillary's basement without Obama knowing about it. I think she did not tell anyone except her closest confidants that she was using her private email for State Department email. She probably went through Huma and others who also had email addresses on her server. They in turn could convey her wishes with their State Department email addresses.
I just don't believe Hillary would entrust the Secret Server to set up a private secure email server for her State department business knowing that the government (Obama/ Jarrett) could access it.
It would be a good question to find out who set up the server for her and where the back ups are maintained.
The email was set up while Bush was still president, more than likely for plausible deniability, Obama could claim he had no idea what Hillary was doing.
It’s not the job of the SS to tell Hillary what email server to use. Their job is to make sure it is secure so no one can learn from hacking her email where she, or B Clinton for that matter, is going to be on a particular day and set up an ambush.
If the server was in fact in her house as is claimed, then you can pretty much guarantee the SS made sure it was secure.
I wonder if there was or is a second server.
It’s been reported the address of the server has been traced to a govt building in NYC IIRC, not her house.
I would think that a system set up for personal use in a basement does not have the same security that a State Department email server has. I'm sure that our government could still get into the system. And if our government can, then foreign governments may be able to hack into the system. An email server by definition is connected to the Internet and is vulnerable to hacks along the email route. Her email was discovered when the hacker hacked Sidney Blumenthal’s email, so it wasn't so secure after all. At least if she had been sending her email through the State Department, there would have been more checks along the way.
