Intel on foreign government donors and how to move some of their capital into the Clinton Foundation. Plus she needed to keep track of everything she promised those donors for the money. Things like support or non-support on various treaties and trade negotiations, which human rights violations to highlight and which to ignore, state visits, state grant monies, etc.

She was running a market and the email system was her general ledger.

Abedin held “special government employee” status, and worked a sideline---as a private contractor. One of Huma's clients was Bill Clinton's Company----Teneo Holdings----a dual-track consulting firm that calls itself the “next chapter in strategic advisory.”
