Yep, in their wisdom they have become fools...
Hate is in the eye-of-the-beholder...and to say free speech is only to be used for “good” is also. What is “good”?
ISIS “good”? Killing anyone that is non-Muslim?
Christ “good”? Forgive those that trespass against us.
These people are so confused, caused by rejecting God and believing in their own wisdom.

One of the most admirable things about Europe is that most (if not all) of the right-wing rhetoric that you hear in the US is explicitly against the law there. For example, attempting to link Islam with terrorism, saying that gay marriage isnt really marriage, or saying that trans women arent really women would get you charged with discrimination and/or incitement to hatred. LOL! Getting all riled up over words, and when terrorist groups bomb sovereign countries we disarm sovereign countries. W T F?
Do people actually believe this nonsense! I find its like a bad B movie where there is no logical motive behind the antagonist. Every day I wake up. The insanity curves upward, and rationality downward. One day I’ll wake up to be the only sane rational individual on Earth. At this rate, I’m not kidding.

You are correct. The Constitution’s free speech has been turned on its head. It protects freedom to criticize the government, not yell fire in a crowded theater or distribute pornography. We are rapidly approaching a situation where the ONLY regulated/prohibited speech is that which criticizes the government.

To Leftists, and Big Media (but I am being redundant), EVERYTHING they say is the truth. ‘Hate speech’ in in the ear of the beholder, unless the beholder is Conservative/Republican. Nothing we (Conservatives/Republicans) believe has validity. And these wackos are in charge all around the world, including in our WH.

Yes, freespeech should protect hate speech because other speech should be able to counter it easily....unless that "hate" speech is just logic against your politics you should have no problem with speech.
Stopping any speech is totalitarianism designed to suppress your enemies because your policies are wrong and easily proven wrong.....no thanks.

Porn is protected, open sedition is protected, encouraging out enemies in a time of war in protected (see 2001-2009), but being a Republican is not protected. Got it.
Political purge under way, I see.

Wow!
I can’t figure out if this article is a parody of leftist thought or a serious attempt to persuade. If it’s the latter, the author is clearly mentally ill. I know of no other way to describe a mind capable of believing 1984 style nonsense like freedom equals slavery.
I fear I might have just offended the author. Hate crime! Hate crime! Hate crime!

Assaults on the human dignity of Muslims are simply not tolerated in Europe, and Europe cracks down hard on any attempts to incite hatred against Muslims. Maybe Europe should consider cracking down hard on the Islamonazis who are inciting hatred against the (indigenous) kufir.

In a notable example, a woman in Austria was convicted of a hate crime for suggesting that the Islamic Prophet Muhammed was a pedophile. Just because he had sex with a girl under the age of ten doesn't mean a thing. As wise Imam will tell you, she was his WIFE and he waited two years to consummate the marriage.

I believe this is definitely where the United States is headed. The left has already largely succeeded in changing the culture to the point that standard conservative beliefs are met with shock and horror by the typical low-information voter. For the love of Pete, it is now considered hateful to disapprove of those demented parents who encourage their toddlers to be transgendered.

Yes, indeed. In an age of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary (and ILLEGAL) act.

Hate is anything that challenges her political worldview even if it is based on junk science.
Countries like the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Australia to name just a few examples take a much more sensible approach to freedom of expression. They allow legitimate freedom of expression while banning bigots, hatemongers, conspiracy theorists, anti-vaxxers, pro-pedophile groups, terrorist sympathizers, harmful media, Holocaust deniers, pick-up artists, climate change deniers, and other forms of expression which damage society and social cohesion.
