TEL AVIV After a bruising campaign focused on his failings, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel won a clear victory in Tuesdays elections and seemed all but certain to form a new government and serve a fourth term, though he offended many voters and alienated allies in the process.
With 99.5 percent of the ballots counted, the YNet news site reported Wednesday morning that Mr. Netanyahus Likud Party had captured 29 or 30 of the 120 seats in Parliament, sweeping past his chief rival, the center-left Zionist Union alliance, which got 24 seats.

Depends on the size of the Arab vote in those regions, and the size of the other conservative parties vote. The Arabs would have gone for Herzog. The very conservative parties for someone even more conservative than Netanyahu.
Soon we’ll here how “right wing, nativists” are dominating Israeli governance and policy. You see, in Israel, like in the U.S., if you vigorously defend the ideals that got you here you are EXTREME.
Are those near Gaza dwellers Arabs?
“Now that is really telling, and grim news. One would think the remnant living under such a rain of weapons would know better than to cave. A negotiated settlement will buy them worse.”
Never underestimate the inclination of a leftist Jew to vote for his or her own demise. This happens every election in the U.S.
It’s hard to believe that anybody in Israel, and I mean anybody, really things that what is needed is more concessions to the people who want to kill them all.

In the spirit of bipartisanship I hereby volunteer to break the news to Obama. My only request is that I be allowed to stay for the temper tantrum that follows.

The NYTards (not the people, the paper) do seem a little
flustered about it. After all they did offend voters
and alienated allies in the process. It was a bruising
and failing defeat for them. The point being, liberals suck
and this election proves that most people know it.
That he did. Finally some good news and a slapdown to the left and the Obamaites.
In other words NYT and her allies (Obama) are sore losers.

Most people don’t know that American jews are socialists.
Everyone thinks that they fled Nazi Germany because of
socialism but that’s not the case. They fled persecution
not socialism, they were died in the wool socialists and
remained so when they hit American soil where they almost
immediately began the socialists movement here that prevails
to this day.
They simply do not understand that if you give any government that much power, eventually they will get around to persecuting who they perceive to be the undesirables.
Israeli voters know how to respond when hostile foreign influences try to poison an Israeli election.
American voters, in comparison, drink down venom from America’s foreign and domestic enemies like mother’s milk.
Yes, I would expect those areas to be more strongly bifurcated. I just don't know the distribution.

Of course the slimes had to add the last snarky bit. You can always tell how they really feel from the lack of true honest reporting.
Looks like the Israeli polls are no more honest than our own. Our polls are always slanted to make the conservative side feel hopeless and stay home. Prop 187 in CA a decade ago is a good example - the MSM reported it was neck in neck all day, yet as the results came in it was a landslide. Unfortunately, an activist judge overturned the will of the people and the invasion and destruction of America continued unabated.
they always have to add their snarky little comments.
So much for unbiased journalism!
Bibi offended muslims and liberals. Good job, Bibi!
Fixed it!
These so called "failings" centered around Bibi's refusal to surrender Israel to the Islamofascists and the only ones "focused" on them were Obama and other sworn enemies of Israel. Netanyahu didn't alienate ANY of Israel's allies, Obama alienated Israel by attempting to betray America's ONLY Mid-East ally.
