Oh yes...”Stony brook”. That station was a new one.
Originally that was supposed to be an extension of I95. Houses were seized by eminent domain, torn down, and then the lad just sat there for years. Then it was mused to Built Roxbury Community College, The Arthur Ashe tennis center, ....and ...a HUMUNGOUS MOSQUE.

Me too. My favorite place to drink beer was at the Konigsbacher brewery in Koblenz, Germany. They served bock beer 365 days a year, and the restaurant served great food.

The Orange line has changed a lot since I used to ride it every morning from Forest Hills to Dudley, and then a bus through some of Boston’s toughest ghettos to attend Girls Latin School in Codman Square, Dorchester.
I was in the 7th grade when I began that journey, and traveled that line for years all the way through college and then working downtown for the first seven years of my marriage.
That was in the early 60’s, before the “Big Dig”.
