Theres a high divorce rate among those who decide no children. With or without the openness. The divorce rate for all childless couples is 66% (don't have the numbers for those who made a conscious decision not to procreate). The divorce rate for couples with children is around 40%, and it is slightly higher for those with only girls than it is for those with only boys.

“My experience has been that Freeper women are beautiful.
Smart, too.”

Cold, creepy. I really don’t see what the attraction is.

Worth repeating. Thank you for putting my thoughts into words.

. . . living as she damn well pleases. And why not? Men have been doing so since the beginning of time. Rinaldis memoir is groundbreaking, sexy, and a joy to read. SUZANNE FINNAMORE Progress - women can now celebrate the same shallow and meaningless life decisions that used to be mistakes made primarily by men.

Its a good thing we can read articles like this online now. Had it been a paper magazine, I would have probably read the article with plastic gloves on. Yet still I feel like spraying the keyboard with Lysol.
The argument that men have been doing so, so she is some sort of female hero for emulating bad behavior... it is just as wrong when men do it.
So tired of the romanticizing of this “Eat, Pray, Love” kind of crap. And this type of person evangelized their evil.
Someone should send these kind of people a bottle of barbeque sauce, so they have something to spread on themselves to smell nice when they roast after death.

Single people very often DO live as they damn well please. Married couples generally find some compromise or boundaries.

I just find the whole article sad and a statement as to where big city liberal values and selfishness leaves you. It seems like an empty life with no real direction. You know, it's one thing to chase hard after selfishness, especially if one then comes to the conclusion that "vanity, vanity all is vanity", and there is a certain repentance that results. But, when one chases after the wind, destroys a marriage, and perhaps lives, including those people she may have sexually defrauded, and then brags about it saying how exotic and exciting it was is exceptionally destructive.
Here, come follow me! This is the path to self-discovery and enlightenment! If you eat from this apple you will become wise!

The adulterous whore in question.
Although I will note that her husband caused the problem by refusing to father children with her and even had a vasectomy. It was after this she began to wander (as did the lecherous husband).
On the bright side, they are out of the breeding pool and did not reproduce.

But the lessons I learned . . . were about . . . making mistakes, learning to live without so much fear, owning up to my dark side and, eventually, finding out the difference between being a good girl and a good person. I've learned a lot by making mistakes - they are sometimes unavoidable but always a mistake. Mistakes should never be celebrated. As for owning up to our dark side, I have a dark side too. The difference is I consider it a bad thing, and I resist it with all my energy. God does not celebrate our dark side, and I would prefer to follow God as presented in scripture, rather than following a woman with the morals of a frat boy as presented in a memoir.

Her marriage failed because of this and she still thinks it was a great idea. What a dumb slut! Her marriage didn't fail because of this. It failed because she was...
"Trapped in a marriage where the sex was routine..."
Do you realize how intolerable that was? She had no choice but to go $crew strangers!"

So anyone who doesn’t want to have kids is a dirtbag? Not everyone is cut out to be a parent. He was honest about it upfront, and the open marriage wasn’t his idea. So what makes him a dirtbag?
