Local TV in Philly covered the capture of the alleged perp and closed with a brief clip of a black speaker telling those who are “here protesting for the wrong reasons” that they weren’t wanted in Ferguson - it’s a start.......

Pro-Ferguson means the citizens of this fine town are sticking up for a city they love. Pro-Ferguson means we are sick and tired of the complete and utter lies that have been spewed forth by people in the media who have no idea of what they are saying. Ferguson, despite all the lies and slanders the media has been screaming for the past few months, is a great city - the jewel of North St. Louis County. Our town will not be destroyed by the race-baiters, the media liars, and the totalitarian thugs that are using Ferguson as the test case in how to destroy an American city. We are fighting back! That is what PRO-FERGUSON means.

No...it’s the people in your community who are not governing their own behaviors that is why you’re community is getting destroyed....stop blaming others.

Stomping up and down the streets have gotten Ferguson exactly what???? Nothing but heartache.

The problem began with a violent culture that needs to contain itself and it’s culture of violence....stop blaming everything and everybody else for your misery and do the hard work ...that means “ratting” on the people causing the violence to begin with.

Until the people are on the same page there’s nothing you should expect any to do otherwise for your community...they aren’t there yet...and I don’t believe the majority it will take want to be.

From the comments it looks like this is a good article, but my computer would not let me read it. All I got was grayed-out lines where interesting words should have been.

Thanks for the report. I wish your police chief had not resigned.

When good men step down, it is used as evidence that they did something wrong. This guy did nothing wrong.

Take care.

Ferguson has a population just north of 20K. Almost all of the protesters live in 3 separate Section 8 subsidized apartment complexes in the Southeast corner of the city. A few blocks over and the world would never have heard of Ferguson.

The useful idiots who were stomping up and down the streets have caused true heartache, as well as property damage and much anguish. The culture there is horribly violent, racist, sexist, bigoted and every other deprecatory term the left loves to throw at the right. But they are protected by the insane PC world we live in.

The leaders and citizens knew that there was trouble with so much subsidized poverty concentrated in one area. After all, this is St. Louis. With Pruitt-Igoe, we perfected the non-functioning low-income housing racket. There have been and still are many citizen-led efforts to get the victims of the welfare state plantation to improve their life, but they all fail because the criminals in their community and their own poor life choices have trapped them in a horrible vicious cycle.

Yes, they do not rat one another out. This is a huge problem, and one that must be solved from within the community.

What is hard for people outside of Ferguson to realize is what a tiny minority of our citizens are supporting this debacle. What is also hard for people not in this environment to realize is how few options we have available. Prayer has been our most effective weapon so far, and I invite you to pray for my town instead of bad mouth it. Another thing that is hard for people to realize is that TPTB are using my city as a test case to see how to Federalize a town. We need your support because we can win this fight. You need to support us because if we lose, more cities will fall.

No, I will move from Ferguson when God tells me it's time to leave. I do have bug-out plans, but I am staying put.

Another bit of unreported news is that there are very few houses being sold or abandoned. The people of Ferguson have seen how panic-driven white flight has destroyed other communities and we will do whatever we can to keep it from happening here.

Running away when the situation gets bad only brings a bad situation to a new location. Until God tells us otherwise, it's Picard vs the Borg.

Thanks. This is a great article and I'll try to contact some of the people. Prayers from as many people who understand the power in prayer as possible is the only solution to what Ferguson and the country are facing.

Not only was Chief Jackson a fine man, so was John Shaw and the Officers who were forced out. Ferguson has lost some good cops and public servants over this, but it might have had something to do with the death threats, identity thefts, and other thug tactics that our city government employees have been subjected to.

Keep praying that Mayor Jim Knowles stays strong. He has been put through an unimaginable ordeal, but he is doing an outstanding job. I am proud to have him as my mayor.

It was reported early on (from his own lips) that Emanuel Cleaver called Eric Holder day one and told him that this police department needed to be investigated.

I think there’s a lot of politics involved here, but I’m not sure what full story is. Why in the heck they wanted to pick Ferguson, when there were other places that would have had a better case for civil rights violation, is something I have yet to hear explained.

It seemed to me on the night of the verdict, that the county officials who were put in charge, just decided to sacrifice Ferguson in order to avoid violence spreading in the nearby affluent areas such as Clayton, and West County areas for example.

Those county officials didn’t live in Ferguson, and they were elected by the larger area of St. Louis County, so can’t really be ousted by Ferguson voters alone. Meanwhile, people who were stripped of authority by the Governor, are being held to account for what was the County and State Officials screw up.

It stinks. Its all Democrat double dealing, and falsehoods supported by Soros and the LSM. That’s my gut reaction anyway, and I could be wrong.
