St. Louis County Police: Suspected shooter of two police officers in custody

FERGUSON, MO (KTVI)- St. Louis County Police have confirmed to FOX 2 that the suspected shooter of two police officers early Thursday morning outside of the Ferguson police department is in custody.

The two officers were shot just after midnight, as many protestors were headed home following a night of protests after the resignation of the city’s police chief.

One of the wounded officers is from Webster Groves Police and was shot in the cheek, just under his right eye. The other wounded officer is with the St. Louis County Police and was hit in the shoulder and the bullet came out the middle of his back. Both men were treated and released.

The "unarmed teen" in Wisconsin (Tony Robinson) who attacked a cop and got shot recently (yes, there are now protests there too) was a convicted armed robber... he too only got probation despite a fairly extensive rap sheet.

One needs to do a lot to actually make it to prison (at least in certain demographic groups).

What those three mugshots clearly show though is how the Ferguson Police are targeting these poor black teens in their quest to make Ferguson an all-white city. Three times (at least!) that they have targeted him in his young life. /s

St. Louis is thinking they don't need anymore of this riot/racial/protest coverage. They probably had outside influences working here to.

They knew if they go for max penalties on this suspect that claimed he was not actually shooting at cops but someone else, it would bring the race industry back down on them.

I'd bet they cut the deal with the suspect. Confess to the shoot, but not intending to kill the cops, and we'll take 15 years off your sentence. If ya don't cooperate, and confess, we go for maximum punishment. .

I think it was an attempt to not only kill ir injure police but was done in wuch a manneer as to try to create a Kent State moment and get the police to fire into the crowd by shooting from behind and above the “protesters.”
