Jersey City councilman calls drunken driving arrest 'very unfortunate accident'
Jersey Journal NJ.com | March 14, 2015

Jersey City Councilman Khemraj "Chico" Ramchal is speaking out about his drunken driving arrest earlier this morning, but he's saying very little.

Ramchal, 39, who was charged with drunken driving after a 12:30 a.m. accident at West Side and Communipaw avenues that witnesses say he caused after running a red light, is referring all questions to his lawyer.

"Although I want to elaborate, basically on the advice of my attorney I can't," he said.

Ramchal was arrested after this morning's accident, which involved three cars and caused at least one injury. Police say the first-term councilman, who represents Ward B on the City Council, blew a .15, nearly twice the legal limit.

Tonight, Ramchal characterized the incident to The Jersey Journal as a "very unfortunate accident."

“we support you cause you are a Dem”.........

While the article does not specifically state he is a demodummie, not saying so in the article removes all doubt.

Looks a little like a young Yul Brynner.

His mistake was the accident. I suspect that he had been waived through may DUI checkpoints (their into that crap out there) and maybe pulled over several times.

But crash a car and life gets tougher...even for an insider.

Ever notice how Democrats never commit a crime? It's always described as a “misstep”, or at most, “a lapse of judgment.”

If you are an elected official in favor of raising taxes, killing babies, and shredding traditional values and the Constitution there is no act you can’t commit short of talking bad about the regime.

I don’t think there is a republican in Jersey City. The last recorded republican left in 1964 and never looked back.

An allegedly drunk-driving Jersey City councilman picked the wrong guy to smash into at a Jersey City intersection: an off-duty NYPD sergeant, who helped local cops pinch the pol.

NYPD veteran Sgt. Raymond Elie-Pierre, 48, was waiting at a red light at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday when Councilman Khemraj “Chico” Ramchal careened past, causing a three-car crash, according to a police report obtained by The Post

So if I get caught doing the same thing, is it a “very unfortunate accident” for me too?

Didn’t think so.

NJ had a Republican mayor in the 90s (Bret Schundler).

It must be lonely there. If you want to stay in N.J. move out here to Warren County. Lots of conservatives here. You would like it here and we would welcome you. When you hear gunfire it is not someone getting shot it is just someone keeping sharp or a bear or a deer going down.

It would have been nice if Schundler had been elected Governor.

NJ RINO Establishment couldn’t have that happening. Went all out to sabotage him so McGreevey could be elected instead.
