URGENT: White House Confirms Obama Planning Huge New Executive Order
Conservative Tribune in Defense of Western Civilization ^ | March 14, 2015 | Staff

Here we go again. White House press secretary Josh Earnest has officially confirmed that President Barack Obama plans to implement yet another executive order. This one is slated to send tax rates skyrocketing through the roof!

The hoopla started last Friday, when Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders submitted a letter to the White House that asked the president to nullify six currently active corporate tax breaks. Closing these tax breaks would raise $100 billion in a decade, but also cost us innumerable jobs.

When questioned about this letter by Ed Henry, senior White House correspondent with Fox News, Earnest first tried to dodge the question by saying that “the president’s ability to use executive authority to move the country in the right direction” is always a possibility.

This statement signifies that the White House views a potential tax increase in a positive light. Ed Henry rebutted it by bluntly asking, “Would the president raise taxes by executive action?”

“Obola should just disband the ceremonial Congress.”

To show how pathetic things have become, I’m not sure Boehner/McConnell/Republicans would protest, much less do something.

Words mean things, people. An EO is an EO. Period.

Yes words do mean things but an EO has the authority of law unless specifically overturned by a super majority of Congress, or by an incoming presidential EO nullification.

Under current precedent the President can effectively amend the Constitution and with no one to stop him, he is de facto king and saying it isn't Constitutional doesn't change a thing.

"Obama needs to be impeached, convicted, and removed from office just to reestablish the co equal branches of government. Politics and everything else will have to take the hindmost."

He needs to be made an example of, otherwise hereafter every future outlaw president will point to him and whine, "but you let obama get away with it for years."

Immigration is based on law too.
How’s that working out?

An EO only directs the executive branch. Not citizens or the other two branches.

No EOs were passed over immigration.

Do you have an EO number for this 'latest outrage' or just an article?

Quit flogging that dead horse Johnny, he is going ahead unhindered and you know it. The Law and the Constitution are not even slowing this guy down.

Congress has two tools to use to prevent this president from being a king, Money and impeachment and they refuse to use either. Pointing out that he is breaking the Constitution or the Law is a useless enterprise. Listen to Levin's Friday show he is fed up with whiners complaining about the Law and Constitution being broken while all they do is point out the obvious and do nothing to prevent it and he included Cruz in his remarks.

You know, back during WWII Frank Capra made a series of movies on "Why We Fight." In the first one the narrator points out that the first step to dictatorship in Germany, Italy, and Japan was the legislatures becoming mere rubber stamps. I also recall that it was often pointed out that after coming to power Hitler took advantage of a new law allowing him to rule by decree.

What else is going on here? The legislature is afraid of him and thinks the slightest criticism is "racist" and unforgivable (could this be why all the news about "racist speech" are ongoing, to set up a pseudo-McCarthyite "great fear" among anyone who would dare criticize Obama?) and he's acting as legislature as well as chief executive. Yet not a word among the critics of the fascist regimes of WWII, who thought this was all horrible when they did it, will offer so much as a squeak of protest.

I guess whether one is a "dictator" or a "great progressive leader" depends not on one's actions but entirely on which "side of history" one is on.

Looks like you are the one flogging the 'woe is me' dead horse.

Looks like the states are doing something with the executive actions, and have a stay on Obama's powers. Quite unlike what you said.

I don't listen to BS radio and TV shows when there is real work to be done. That's for you low-info, stay-at-home types.

Despite what we think, there are a Majority of Americans that have no problem with anything Obama chooses to do.

They are either Bootlickers or Ignorant, but it doesn’t really matter. They Vote for this and they have no interest in the Constitution, unless they are the ones who are targeted.

Since there will always be more Rich People than Poor People, this will never end. Sorry to say it, not enough care one way or the other as long as they get by.

There aren’t any People starving to death in this Country, but they think there are and that is all the Elitists need
to control them.

We are a Nation of spoiled Children who are never exposed to the downside of their actions. Someday it will all fall down, but by then it will be too late.

Good enough to honestly take on the bozos in Washington without resorting to BS about EOs.

And it looks like the States, lead by my governor, are doing a good job of getting injunctions against the Won.

They write some letters did they? Show me some proof that they have stopped anything. You can't.

In any case you are arguing with the wrong guy, I agree with you 99% of the time. The problem is that pointing out that Obama avoided signing an EO in no way prevents him from doing exactly what the EO would have accomplished.

I have said for more years than I can remember the only way to stop this is for the Governors to get off their duff and take back their 10th amendment powers, but I knew when George Wallace was subject to arrest by Federal Marshal's, that the state's 10th amendment powers were dead, dead, dead. As bad a Wallace's reasons were, it was still a tipping point.

The 5th Circuit has an injunction against Obama on amnesty now because of the State lawsuits. The executive is expected to fight it.

He isn't off the hook and doing whatever he wants.

In fact, he's been stymied, regardless of your 'woe is me' posts.

You can't make good decisions based on false information.

You keep saying that with absolutely no proof that he has stopped doing exactly what he set out to do.

Here is a State actually trying to do something.

They have an injunction against them. That does stop them until they get it lifted (if they do).

Understood. There are similarities, but the scenario is different in that the administration’s position is essentially failure to enforce, and a [weak] case could even be made for prosecutorial discretion, which is a normal practice. In this case, he’d be making whole new (invalid) law, not just being selective in his enforcement of existing law, which is a significant leap.
