TEAM MCCONNELL STRUGGLES TO DEFEND DECISION TO BRING LORETTA LYNCH UP FOR A VOTE
Breitbart ^ | March 13, 2015 | by MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 03/13/2015 7:34:49 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell doesn’t have to bring U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch, President Barack Obama’s nominee to serve as the next Attorney General of the United States, up on the Senate floor for a vote next week—or ever—if he doesn’t want her confirmed. But he’s doing it anyway, even though just four Senate Republicans have said they’ll vote for her—and even their support for her is questionable at this point.

McConnell’s office has struggled to defend the Majority Leader’s decision—which flies in the face of a pre-election promise to not allow any attorney general nominee who supports Obama’s executive amnesty.

McConnell’s spokesman Don Stewart repeatedly refused to answer when Breitbart News asked him why the leader plans to bring Lynch’s nomination up for a floor vote next week. He also refused to state whether McConnell himself—even though he’s bringing up Lynch for a vote—will personally vote for Lynch, something that would be a direct violation of the pre-election promise McConnell made to voters.

“He’ll speak on her next week—assuming Dems end their filibuster of the anti-trafficking bill,” Stewart said, refusing to answer where the Majority Leader himself stands and why he’s even bringing her up for a vote when he doesn’t have to. “McConnell is the leader of a majority in the Senate,” Daniel Horowitz, the Conservative Review’s senior editor, told Breitbart News.

"He could easily refuse to bring Lynch up for confirmation and actually stand for conservative values. However, McConnell always likes taking the path of least resistance. In this case, simply allowing Lynch to come for a vote, but personally opposing her, allows him to win the best of both worlds: avoid any confrontation with Obama but preserve his conservative bona fides."

McConnell could also undo the so-called “nuclear option”...

He thinks that he can pull the same thing as Boehner...give the Senate Republicans cover by using Rat votes to do the dirty work.

Was McConnell asleep during the time Dirty Harry was in charge? Does he not have a memory? Did he not take notes? Screw all these Democrat initiatives and screw the media!

IIRC, Lynch and Holder's wife were charter members of a sorority chapter in their college days. The cronyism is so thick you can cut it with a dull knife.

Anyone who thinks she will prosecute anything Holder has done is nuts.

Hey McConnell, when you’re done wiping the oatmeal off your chin, do us all a favor, retire and just go away. We need new blood in there. This guy is awful!

Same ole, same ole. The GOPe has no balls. They simply go along to get along in their DC hobbit habitat.

Hate them all except for some I could name on one hand. Hope I don't get arrested for a hate crime for saying the word hate. Actually, at my age I don't give a f*ck. Come get me for espousing a basic human emotion, but not acting on it:

Here's some more hate language for all the political correct:
1. I hate race-baiters and all you Obamba pricks know who I'm talking about;
2. I despise lying duplicitous politicians;
3. I so hate progressive/socialist/communist teachers in our schools who indocrinate our youth and never make the point how this country changed the World for the better. I probably hate them more than all others.

They write their convoluted thesis to get their doctorate degree while haveing NO idea of the general goodness that came from the American Revolution. They just bad mouth American history and never say what good came from a few good men who decided against tyranny.

Those same self-brilliant professors never recognize that American tore itself apart to end slavery, which has existed since time immemorial, and still exists today. America was the first country to do and many many other nations followed our example;
4. I hate wimpy military commanders whose time has come to speak out against Obamba's blatant tyranny. Don't bother to lecture me about their allegience to civilian authority. Been there, done that for 11 years.
5. I hate anyone who supports killing a human baby and yet supports the local dog rescue facility;
6. I hate feminists for their hypocritical position about how awful men are in the USA, yet hear nothing from them about the horrendous atrocities that occur in muslim countries world-wide every day. Hey NOWW (National Organization of Whiny Women) want a real cause?
7. I hate black, white, brown, yellow, green, purple men who think it's cool to knock up women and then leave them to . You f*ckers are the worse of our society. I'm glad that so many of you are in jail/prison. Don't care what your half-white bro-Holder, your half-white bro-Obama, and all the other racists say about Ferguson, you are and always will be suckup welfare eating cheating scum.
8. I hate 4 of the Justices on the USSC. Why do they think they get to automatically re-write the Constitution because of their social leanings?

It's really not a difficult document to understand, until politicians/lawyers/judges start second-guessing the origenal intent. The Founding Fathers provided countless letters, editorials, correspondence, personal diaries, etc. to make their intent crystal clear. If they had only known how modern lawyers would parse, spin, distort their intent, the Constitution would have been longer than Obamacare.
9. I hate rap so-called music.

Sorry, time for this old guy to go to bed and hold his loving wife.

Not awful. These guys (Bohner incl)are systematically evil. They have sold out their souls for a few shillings. They know what they are doing. To the people of Kentucky & western Ohio I want to express my total outright contempt for y'all. You are the reason that these two jackass POS are there & in bed with the enemy.

>>a pre-election promise to not allow any attorney general nominee who supports Obama’s executive amnesty.<<

Anybody who believes anything a politician says is a fool. And the people who keep voting for them, alive or dead, are idiots. THEY deserve this regime; I don’t.

We got rid of McCain's butt crack sniffer Mike Dewine. You remember him he was Lindsey Graham before Lindsey Graham got the job. Ran as a conservative but became a ventriloquists dummy mouthing every talking point of Juan McCain once he arrived in Washington.

The House and the Senate which, ostensibly, are controlled by Republicans, should put a moratorium on all Obama/Democrat activity as a first step toward undoing six years of social and economic devastation.

They won’t, of course; because the GOP “leadership” basically agrees with everything Zero and the RATS are doing.
