Hillary Clinton's Popularity Remains High, Outstripping GOP Rivals, Poll Finds

By DAVID LAUTER Hillary Rodham Clinton is not only the best-known, but also the most favorably viewed of the potential presidential candidates from either of the two major parties, according to a Gallup poll released Thursday.

The poll was conducted Monday through Wednesday of last week, mostly after the news broke about Clinton's use of a private email account while she was secretary of state, but before the news conference this week in which she addressed the issue.

Roughly nine in 10 Americans said they knew enough about Clinton to have an opinion, and the poll found that 50% viewed her favorably, while 39% had a negative impression. On both counts, that put her in better position than any of the potential Republican candidates at this early stage of the presidential race.

Because 8 years of the secret Muslim isn’t enough? Oh wait, SHE might be a secret Muslim, too.

Hillary is not a Muslim, but her life-partner (Huma) is.

Was this a poll of most likely voters in the a Democrat party? Who else would this kind of rubbish come from?

Looks like she’s gonna have to try harder to screw it up. She may be capable of doing it.

Her book tour was a failure. This whole thing is bogus. If she was such a sure thing, she would have beat Obama.

I don’t think so. I don’t hear much clamoring for Hillary aside from her clique. Even the MSM isn’t covering her arse. The young democrats don’t like her. She is a stale, worn out old woman with zero appeal.

Any nation that votes for Obama, TWICE....is on the road to ruin. She’s going to walk into the White House next year.

Its much more than just stupidity of the self indulgent dumbed down electorate at work, we’re being given over to reprobates minds to rule over us,

Reprobate, meaning void of judgement,

And why is this happening?

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” Romans 1:28

You are amongst a small quantity of people that vote, but actually pay attention to what they are voting about. Most “voters” fall into the category of LIV. Most voters unfortunately vote for the sounds they hear, not the thought behind the sound IF there is any. Teddy Kennedy proved that over, and over with his gibberish speeches.

This is why we MUST nominate a candidate that is very likeable. This candidate must also be a good Conservative, but very, very importantly be very likeable. The time of nominating stuffy, homely/plain nominees is over, or we are. We can find a person to run that is very likeable and also a good Conservative.

She has 50% approval in this poll. She has been around since the dawn of time. She hasn’t opened her mouth much the past couple of years. She *starts* with 50% approval heading into the race as a known quantity and people think that we are doomed. We are not doomed ... Not by a long shot so long as the Republican candidate is NOT a Bush, Christie, Huckster, or other retread from the past two POTUS elections. It is well known that when she starts talking, people RUN from her.

This is good news, not bad.

well, I know a lot of D’s and NONE of them has ever expressed any desire to see Hillary stay in public view, more or less run for office

she is simply unpopular... mostly because people think she has a vicious personality and mistreats people........also because she’s been such a failure when given opportunity to demonstrate political or governance skills.

all the D’s I know want someone eose. AND they do not want Ms. Warren, who they consider a fraud... .nor do they want a rehased Gore. They really hope some capable new D faces will show up soon.....for the 2016 nominating process.

I have no pet candidates for them. They don;t even know who they want, they just want soneone other than Hillary.

If the D party nominates Hillary, millions of D voters will stay home. It would be the R party’s election to lose.
Most likely, the R party will nominate someone who will throw the election, and we will get President Hillary and First Lady Bill

Being popular and being liked or repected are two completely different things. She’s VERY popular for trying to conceal her role in things that should get her impeached...

I am a long time member of a Gallup poll panel. I say “a”
panel because I don’t know whether or not there are
different panels utilized for different purposes. The
polls I am asked to respond to are mostly boring as all
hell and I tell them so when they ask me to rate each
poll at the end. About once a year I am asked to respond
to political questions. No question that they know I am
clearly a conservative.

One thing that really chaps me is that when GW was POTUS
they ALMOST ALWAYS began every poll by asking me to
rate his performance even though the poll subject was
about cars, jobs, health, vacation destinations, etc.
They NEVER ask me to evaluate Obama.

No one will want a repeat performance of some of the worst years our nation has faced.

This is exactly what I think will happen, repeat performance it will be.

I wonder how many different people are in the poll panels. I apparently mistakenly thought they were random polls across the entire population. Regardless, I don’t trust polls to provide any data other than what the ones paying for the poll desire.
