Madison Police Chief Mike Koval told ABC News..."I apologize for what has happened to their son, their grandson, their nephew, their friend, their family member, their sibling," Koval said. "I apologize to the community that we're all coping with this under these circumstances."

Wow.

I've read the qualifications for Chief of Police for several jurisdictions, admittedly, Madison was not one of them, but none of them, none, called for a "skilled apologist".

That was pandering, done out of concern for his own ass, attempting to cover his own ass, before the liquor stores and shoe stores are looted.

He threw every member of his force under the bus with that simpering bullshit, in effect telling the world that his department probably did something wrong, they're all a bunch of fook ups, that he told them not to do this kind of stuff, etc., etc.

A damned coward.

A political coward.

You apologize when you have something to apologize for, Chief.

Until then, you await the results of the investigation and you stand by your men.

Are there no leaders left...anywhere?

He’s not being a coward... a death of a young person is a sad event. Even if the young person caused the death by the way they acted.
