In 1790 there were about 700,000 slaves and 60,000 free persons of color. By 1860 those figures had grown to just under 4 million slaves and just under half a million free persons of color. So the free black population was growing at a faster rate than the slave population.
I'll bet the demented old biddy "remembers" when the Republicans filibustered the Civil Rights Act back in 1964... LOL!
