Can someone explain to me the fascination some people have regarding two females titilating one another? Or, two males trying to play male and female in a perverted way?

I fail to see where that can be construed as love. I guess I am just an old prude.

It has to do with larger questions of good and evil.

This is about folding evil into love and not realizing that transforms it into a kind of hate.

You expressed this very well. The court is not supposed to rule for homosexual marriage because some companies or politcians feel it is a good policy decision. Yet that is exactly what these people are urging the court to do.

To me, events such as this sadly show that people really don’t understand what the role of the courts is. And honestly they don’t care about that. They just are thinking one dimensionally that they favor homosexual marriage, for whatever reason, and they want the court to act as a.legislature and decree that we will have 50 state homosexual marriage. No desire to go thru the legislative process on how marriage is defined under the law. These liberal minded people want the courts to act as a super legislature.

To me, its sad that so many don’t understand about separstion of powers, our constitutional system, and that they don’t care. They think its all good as long as the courts deliver an outcome which liberals want to see.

Because they convinced many more who are not homos to come around via emoting, compassion, empathy, etc...especially parents who denied that the environment their children were raised in had any effect on their “orientation”.

They had/have advocates and allies who are not homos and joined forces.

It also didn’t help that Christian groups, some looney tune “christian” pastors, etc. took an extremely hard line approach in announcing that homos were doomed to hell...made us look heartless and cruel.

So, in order to “right the wrong”, we’re going to be “punished”...

Unfortunately the battle for the protection of marriage was lost about 50 years ago with the popularization and acceptance of divorce. When marriage became a flexible agreement it lost it’s sanctity. First came divorce and serial marriages, then open marriages, and marriages of convenience. Once the foundation was lost, the structure was bound to crumble. This is just the last straw (let’s hope it doesn’t get any better).

And really when was it ever truly “prudish” to keep sexual intercourse special to marriage? That was a triumph of a dysphemism.

The God recognized by Judeo-Christianity, and even the holy writings of most other world faiths, had a special place for such things. Turning it into a vulgar sport was a joy robber, a party pooper, rather than the great wonder it is being treated as today.

JMO based on working for a pretty large corporation...

DIVERSITY!!!

It’s all about public perception and riding the waves associated with it. It’s advertising and advertising sells.

Companies who are soulless, are only concerned with maintaining a good public perception in order to “grow” the company.

Chic-Fil-A on the other hand, soulFULL corporation, do what is right and still grow.

Check out the stock price. Record high. Check out the sales. Record highs. The layoff is all about cutting fat. Any boycott clearly hasn’t had much of an impact (if at all)

For the corporations it’s all about avoiding trouble, saving money, and making life easier at the HR office. Amorality rules.

If you hold to that 3% as immutable, then you have to accept that it is genetic. Cultural, social and spiritual factors are at play. The under thirty crowd brought up with no fathers or weak fathers. Most fathers are too busy with ESPN or whatever and the mother/wife is more likely to rule the home. The younger crowd has been brought up with the idea that their is no morality as we know it. By the time they are in their early thirties they have had numerous unfulfilling heterosexual relationships/hookups that they are open to experimenting. On and on.
You can forget the 3% foolishness.

For years, I used to be one of the biggest “buy American” proponents around, but this cured me. Corporate America’s embrace of this depraved degeneracy has shown me the depths it has succumbed to, and revealed just what an enemy it has become to everything I value and believe in.

That kind of illicit sex is no more an unpardonable sin than any other sin (besides lifelong rejection of the Lord, the sole unpardonable sin, unpardonable because by the nature of the sin pardon is never asked). But it was convenient to rail against because few were personally involved.

Anyhow, I think there has never been a time when the gospel was more acutely needed, even by those who supposedly preach it.

C. S. Lewis complained about this more than 50 years ago. One can debate over how to read the biblical parameters regarding this, but it is more like cutting off a leg than even deserting a regiment.

I tried to put spaces between, but it didn’t work, and I’d have had to HTML-code the whole thing. I don’t wanna.
