Born To Be Wild. My motor’s running :)
Half of the jukebox selections were classics like "Teddy Bear" and "Phantom 409" and "Convoy" was brand new.
I still wake up in a cold sweat with the tunes running through my head, my version of PTSD.
The surgery went well!
The VA Hospital staff were the best; courteous service, from the doctors to the cafeteria workers.
One more post-op check-up this morning and then off to home (BTW, typing with a patch on one eye is a challenge :-))
I'm looking forward to seeing how quickly my vision will improve.
Anyway, I have the weekend to recover, hope son can come over tomorrow for a meal.
You still snowed in? Weekend plans?
Have a fun weekend!
Yesterday was not a Maddi day. Neither will today be
either.
The singer doesn't say where the journey he describes in the song begins. I figure it's Buckeye, Ariz. If he starts further west or from the south or southwest, he would be going through Flagstaff, Prescott or Casa Grande to get to Oklahoma.
Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))
All is good. Just still trying to stay warm. Should be a better weekend. No more ice for a while anyway!
Hope you and Bo have a chance to romp at the lake a bit this weekend! Bet both of you are ready for some fresh air!
Good morning Pro ((HUGS))
So glad to hear from you so soon! Happy that all went well. Son-boy better come and take care of his dad. Don’t make me come out there!!! hehe
Yeah, we had 6-7 inches. The road crews have been working like busy bees this morning. I stayed home again and hubby went in late. Even though it’s cold, the sun is out and melting some of the snow.
I was going to go to Virginia to visit with oldest son and family on Saturday morning, but may cancel that until next weekend. Other than that, probably hibernate until Sunday; it’s supposed to be 50 (go figure). Nice writing weather ;)
Take care of yourself and I’ll see you on Monday.
Well thanks again! This could go to my head...

Good morning Sandrat. How’s it going?
Hard to say who was “first”...
There was an “evolution” going on
from blues and boogie woogie to rock and roll.
