U.S.Michael Brown's Parents Announce Civil Lawsuit in Death

Lawyers for the parents of an unarmed, black 18-year-old who was fatally shot by a white police officer in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson have announced plans to file a civil lawsuit in their son's death.

Attorney Daryl Parks said the City of Ferguson and former Officer Darren Wilson will be named in the suit.

Unfortunately, I think the City will cave and settle out of court. Notice how close the dirt-bag’s parents are with Holder. They were at his news conference. You can bet Holder and the DOJ will drop some hints to the city to make this go away or they will make it difficult for the City.

They'll move to have it heard in Federal court in Chicago.A Chicago jury is every bit as likely to ignore all three autopsy reports just as surely as the OJ jury ignored the DNA evidence.If their motion is granted they're sure to get a nice,juicy settlement offer.

Since a St. Louis County grand jury didn't indict Wilson, I'm not so sure they're all that friendly to a Brown family suit.

Though I think the standard of proof is lower in a civil trial. Still, most decent people in the St. Louis area are pretty tired of the whole situation. The Brown family sympathizers are almost all out-of-state, like in Washington D.C..

I would like the file a civil lawsuit against the parents for raising a child that was so destructive to society. And owner of the convenience store should file a civil lawsuit as well.
