There are just much better options available.

Who the hell has time these days to sit by an AM radio for 3 hours in the middle of the day to listen to a radio show?

Rush will always be the gold standard of what conservative talk can aspire to, but the medium is just out of date, and we aren’t cultivating young talent to take his place one day. Those guys are all on the internet now.

His most likely sucessor will be Mark Steyn. He is very promising, his comments have zing in them.

Rather I see a lot of options, earth radio still, online, satilite, etc.

Who the heck listens to radio at all anymore? I have 17,440 songs on my computer. I just recently wired in an mp3 player on my motorcycle so I don't have to listen to commercials when I'm on a ride. I think I've got something like a hundred hours of tunes on it now. I think that's plenty for wherever I'm likely to go.

I pop my ear pods in, plug into the iPhone and dial up Rush on any number of Internet stations. I can be out and about running errands, or knocking off another chore from the honey do list, and I’m listing to him Dana and the Chicks on the Right and anyone else who suits my fancy. AM radio is so 20th century.
