Exactly!
There are Buddhist Socialists. Their are socialists of every persuasion. Generalities usually do not fly.
Was your entire post the Teacher’s Union communication? I will look again.
That is an opinion. Walker has plenty of big time donors that are powerful in the GOP. I disagree.
It’s the opposite. There are many Catholic socialists. It only proves that people either don’t understand their religion or don’t understand socialism. The Left is made up of people that hold ignorant views. They’re watered down religionists if they hold any religious views at all.
Socialism is in conflict with Christianity because both are moral/ethical systems of human behavior. Both tell you how you should live. Capitalism is natural law. It doesn’t care if you’re the tiger or the lamb.
“Scott Walker has made a big move up William Hill U.K.’s odds board for the 2016 election, as betting action has prompted an adjustment from 12-to-1 to 5-to-1 for the Wisconsin governor to win the Republican nomination and from 33-to-1 to 10-to-1 to become the next U.S. president.
“Scott Walker has suddenly become a serious contender for the Republican nomination,” said William Hill spokesperson Graham Sharpe. “We thought a Clinton-Bush showdown was shaping up to be a certainty, but it is not looking quite as likely any longer...............”
That has to sting Jeb and Marco, and even Huckabee.
[IIRC, Huckabee changed his residence to Florida several years ago.]
I don’t sense that Jeb’s heart is in running for president. I could be wrong - I just don’t feel it - and the voters won’t feel it either.
TWS Poll Results: Walker in a Walk

http://www.weeklystandard.com/keyword/Scott-Walker
“........[SNIP]...
He captured 47 percent of the first choices, and featured as a first, second, or third choice on no less than 78 percent of the ballots.......
Walker: 47/78
Cruz: 9/29
Rubio: 8/31
Carson: 7/27
Paul: 7/14
Bush: 6/18
Jindal: 3/21
Perry: 2/16
Kasich: 2/13
Pence: 2/11
Huckabee: 2/9
All the other candidates had one percent of first place choices or less, and were mentioned on nine percent or fewer of the ballots in any of the first three places.
Obviously, this was not a scientific survey but rather a poll of those who chose to participate. Equally obvious, the race is early and seems very fluid. But it’s well known that WEEKLY STANDARD readers are an unusually perceptive, predictive, and prescient bunch! So make of these numbers what you will...but ignore WEEKLY STANDARD readers’ judgmentseven if they are early and tentative onesat your own peril.”
“Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
Also Jesus had a disciple get a shekel (sp) out of the fish’s mouth to pay the tax collectors.
Most the statewide candidates got 66%+.
GP may have a got a few more with name recognition and low info voters thinking since a Bush name was there he was top of the ticket.
Howie Carr is the Steve King of the northeast.
No, I don’t capisce.
I still don’t get what Giuliani did?
Giuliani is GOPe. He tried to take out Walker by making him seem extreme, by forcing him to defend or attack Giuliani's comments. Giuliani is too politically savvy for it to be an accident. He was willing to go on the air and double down. I suspect Giuliani is a Jeb-man.
Capisce?
OK, now I understand what you are trying to say.
I don’t think you’re right though.
BUT, for sake of discussion, lets say that is how it happened. Walker handled it in a way no one else did, the correct way.
I say that it was the correct way because it is no longer an issue, just as the evolution thing is no longer an issue.
If the GOPe is trying to take him out, they’re failing.
They’re failing because he is a lot smarter, and more suave, than they are.
Walker is building a throne of skulls out of the heads of his enemies, nearly every one of which decapitated themselves.
I could be wrong about Giuliani. Perhaps Walker was hip to it, but you don’t do what Giuliani did. I couldn’t see Walker’s people agreeing to it.
It was bad form and I suspect sabotage. We’ll see who Giuliani supports during the primaries.
Poll — Bush, Walker, Rubio
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
I vote Cruz.
Family’s not the problem.. the problem with Jeb is his position on illegals.
