"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton |

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

"Sen. Cruz to Sec. Johnson: Do you Intend to Abide by the Federal Court Order?" Great theater, however the Regime will do as it pleases.

We get two years of lawlessness because Congress will not risk a Federal Government shutdown.
To: SoConPubbie
Ted Cruz is laying the groundwork here to nail these guys when they get caught.
I see possible that US Marshals will be dispatched by federal courts to serve a summons for contempt.
I think Congress should be discussing preparations for appointing a Special Prosecutor.

Actually, it's more than just "Great Theater", it's the duty of Senators to hold the other branches accountable, as much as in their power lies. Doing nothing, saying nothing, is what cowards do. By doing this, Senator Cruz has done us two favors, one, continuing to educate the ignorant masses of the overreach of this lawless administration. Two, he may get them to put themselves on record. He has boxed them into the corner on this issue with this letter.

All of this because everyone is afraid to say what everyone is thinking.
This white hating Marxist Islamist is getting away with destroying the human race because everyone is afraid of being called a racist.

The specific provisions of federal law that you believe permit the Administration to continue to implement the above actions, procedures, processes, and/or preparations in the face of the current federal court order.I would expect this criminal regime to respond with:
"Federal Law? We don't need no stinkin' Federal Law."

This administration needs to charged including this President who has not enforced immigration or drug laws. Ignored defending laws like DOMA and have made up their own laws thus ignoring the Constitution and the law of the land.
Thankfully we still have a handful of reps who have guts to call this dictator out and I won’t hold my breath for the likes of Graham, Bush, etc to grow a pair and call fairy boy and the media out.

They know they will get the blame as the media is corrupt to the core and have no desire to do their job, but to run another election for the Democrat party.

You mean like the one Eric Holder simply ignored, knowing full well that nothing would happen to him? Like that?

Both Johnson and Obama need to be slapped with a Contempt order, ASAP. I'm thinking charged with treason.
Then apply said punishment. Swiftly.

Is Sen. Cruz the only Republican that cares about this blatant lawlessness on the part of Obama and his lackeys? What are the rest of them doing, waiting for the next chance to cave to the Emperor’s demands? Sickening.
To: Hostage
It would take action from Boehner and McSenator to do anything about this.
Even a Federal judge cannot touch the President from my understanding.
What will/can a Federal Judge do to the President? NOTHING.
The break point in the rule of law over DC has long passed grounds for impeachment.
