Ukraine Enters The Endgame
Zerohedge ^ | 2-25-2015 | Durden

Back in March 2014 we forecast that it in the aftermath of the US State Department-sponsored coup in Kiev, it was only a matter of time before Ukraine (all of its sovereign gold having since "vaporized") succumbed to full blown hyperinflation and economic implosion. Less than a year later, precisely this outcome has finally played out, and as a result, the entire nation has finally entered its economic endgame, which has two conclusions: either it joins Greece in becoming a ward of Europe and the IMF (thank you Joe Q taxpayer), or it quietly fades away into insolvent "failed state" status.

This is in a nutshell the assessment by Goldman Sachs, presented below, which really doesn't say much we didn't cover earlier in "Ukraine Enters Hyperinflation: Currency Trading Halted, "Soon We Will Walk Around With Suitcases For Cash", but which does lay out the alternatives for yet another nation brought to ruin through American neo-colonial expansion, in what may well be a record short period of time. Of these, the primary ones focus on yet another IMF bailout which the agency may find some resistance to as a result of the near-total collapse of Greece at the same time. SNIP-

Should the IMF fail to provide the much needed funding (and as of this moment the days of merely jawboning its support for the central banks are finished since Russia will once again shut down its gas to Kiev unless it is paid in full and upfront), this is what happens: "the Ukrainian authorities could tighten FX controls further. -SNIP-

Hence our question to Ukrainians: was the coup worth the economic disintegration of your nation, and leaving your faith in the hands of the US, whose recent global intervention case-studies include such sterling examples as Libya, Egypt and Iraq?

Is the Obama Admin really this stupid?

Or are all these failed missions, Tunisia, Libyia, Egypt, Syria, Ukraine, etc., actually part of a plan to recreate the world?

I honestly don't know if it's malice, or just incompetence?

I'm sure the Obamunist Brain trust didn't think it would ever get to this stage, that all they had to do was show Putin "Who was in charge" regarding Syria.

To this day some would ask a rape victim, with a scowl in their voice,"and what were you wearing at the time?

The same folks obviously would blame the people of Ukraine for want to align themselves with Europe rather than a guy who shoots down civilian airliners.

"Iran Air Flight 655 was an Iran Air civilian passenger flight from Tehran to Dubai. On 3 July 1988, the aircraft operating this route was shot down by the United States Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes. The incident took place in Iranian airspace, over Iran's territorial waters in the Persian Gulf, and on the flight's usual flight path. The aircraft, an Airbus A300 B2-203, was destroyed by SM-2MR surface-to-air missiles fired from Vincennes."

Flying around a hot zone can be more dangerous than flying around away from contested borders.

Gee, Tyler Durden is suggesting that it was the US Dept of State that fomented and funded the ""coup" in Ukraine against a legal political authority?

I know there's a bunch of folks on FR that would dispute that, or disregard it's import, but I'm not one of them.

The ignorant thing, is that had the Maidan bomb throwers simply waited a year, about now was time to elect a new president. They could have simply organized and had a campaign. They seem to win about every other time, and had a fair shot to do so in 2015.
All of this could have been avoided, thousands of innocent lives spared, and Kiev wouldn’t be covered in Nazi soot.

The author of the article is not the name of a real person. It is a pseudonym used to hide the real identity of the author or authors publishing the article on Zero Hedge. See:

Tyler Durden

Tyler Durden is a reference to the lead character in Fight Club. It’s the pseudonym for Zero Hedge’s key author(s) used to hide their identities.
http://www.businessinsider.com/author/tyler-durden

Given the blatantly false disinformation in the article, it appears almost certainly to be a pro-Putin and pro-Russian propagandist infiltrating Western media by using the fake pseudonym to hide their identity and affiliation with the criminal Russian aggressions.

Since it is a fact that Putin and Russia set the invasion, occupation, and annexation of the Ukrainian territories into motion before Yanukovych resigned and abandoned his position as President, there was in fact no coup committed by the current government in Kiev. On the contrary, it was Yanukoych and his Russian handlers who committed coups in the Ukrainian government to put Yanukovych in his position on two occasions, but could not force the Ukrainian people to keep him there in the face of Yanukovych’s persecution, torture, and murders of opponents.

“I can see that the pro-Putin trolls are heavy in this thread...”

The author of the article was one of them using a pseudonym. Doubtless the paid Russian Internet trolls were ordered to create the false appearance of a consensus of Western opinion, whereas the reality is a bunch of Russian agents acting as shills to prop up the disinformation. It is a common tactic long used by the Bolshevik Communists of the Soviet Union.

DUH...
That’s no secret.
There are about 30 people that write as “Durden”.

Do any, some, or all serve as paid or unpaid Internet trolls for Putin’s Russian Government?

Not sure...
You should email and ask them.
After they get finished laughing at you, they might give you an answer.

As if Obama is for "American neo-colonial expansion".
