“The people that are funding this BS system are going to have to revolt like 1776 all over again.”

They can’t...
Most are too busy watching The Daily Show, or Dancing with the Stars, when they aren’t fighting the rest of the EBT crowd at Walmart.

The story before was that they were floating the idea of having monitors in the newsrooms.

Now they are actually ready to roll it out.

From the article:

Last May the FCC proposed an initiative to thrust the federal government into newsrooms across the country. With its “Multi-Market Study of Critical Information Needs,” or CIN, the agency plans to send researchers to grill reporters, editors and station owners about how they decide which stories to run. A field test in Columbia, S.C., is scheduled to begin this spring.

Radio stations have to show they’re giving their audience what they want. Typically the stations make up their surveys and air whatever sells. But, the FCC could order a station to play all rap music if they’re broadcasting in an area with a majority black population.

What they’re doing with this latest crap is to make sure the media is all state run politically.

o-bama Administration Embeds "Government Researchers" To Monitor Media Organizations

[T]he Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is set to roll out something called the Critical Information Needs study, which will embed government “researchers” into media organizations - around the nation - to make sure - they are doing their job properly.

The purpose of the CIN, according to the FCC, is to ferret out information from television and radio broadcasters about “the process by which stories are selected” and how often stations cover “critical information needs,” along with “perceived station bias” and “perceived responsiveness to underserved populations.”

Okay, so the story dates from Feb of 2014.

The article states “A field test in Columbia, S.C., is scheduled to begin this spring.”

That means the field test was spring of 2014. Not 2015.

Is this fear porn? Or has this been resurrected with the Net Neutrality vote today?

"Matt, I am reiterating my clarion call. GTFO of the country while you still can. Remember our discussion, not to leave until they start setting up Truth Squads. Don't wait until SWAT busts your door down because you wrote some books."

This raises the old question of where to go. What country is beyond Obama's reach and the fledgling world gov of the UN?

It shows their intent. What do you think they want to do with internet?

Thanks for pointing out the date on the article. Sometimes our reaction to recent events cause over-concern. (Although the way zero is going we can expect this to be in play at some point.)
