If the president's policies are indicative of his love for America, let's pray he begins hating our nation soon.
When former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said "I do not believe that the president loves America" at a dinner featuring Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker last week, my response was, "No duh!" So why were Republicans so quick to back away from his words? Whatever their reasoning, I assure you they do so at their own peril. If the GOP stands a chance of winning the White House in 2016 they'll need to learn to reframe the left's messaging. For instance, when the left attempts to silence Christians we must never relent in accusing them of censorship, bigotry and intolerance every time we step in front of a camera or microphone. Eventually we'll create linkage in the minds of our audience. People won't be able to listen to Democrats without associating words like "censorship" to their causes if our messaging remains singular and focused. With CPAC on the horizon now is as good a time as any to start.
Republicans must be savvy if they're going to lose an opportunity of a lifetime to go on offense against Democrats. Now isn't the time to shrink back from Mayor Giuliani's words, but rather it's time to use them as a clarion call-a springboard to address what Americans instinctively know, our president and today's Democrat policies are tearing this nation apart.
A person that loves this nation wouldn't say he wants to "fundamentally change America." President Obama's view of America can be likened to a woman who finds a good man, marries him, then proceeds to tell him everything he needs to change about himself in order to make her truly happy. Before you know it they're in counseling and their marriage is on life support. The woman doesn't realize what she had until he's gone. Liberals don't appreciate America's greatness and it'll be too late by the time they do. Therefore, it is incumbent upon those of us who do get it to lead the charge to save America.
In the words of a former mentor of mine, Brad Bright (son of Bill Bright, Founder of Campus Crusade for Christ), "Never react, always reframe!"
If the President were on trial for loving America would there be enough evidence to convict him? Can you recall heartfelt speeches or accolades attributed to America by this president? I can't. Would a man that loves America take cheap shots at its Judeo-Christian heritage, while attributing make-believe contributions to another religion for our founding that simply didn't occur? Would a man that loves America relegate the poor to perpetual poverty by sucking money out of the non-government working class that could've been used to employ them? Does a man that loves America nearly double its national debt thereby weakening our financial credibility and national security?
Furthermore, does a man that loves America send our bravest defenders to war with suicidal rules of engagement and dare not name their enemy, or clarify their mission? Would a man that loves America stack the Federal judiciary with activists intent on usurping the votes of everyday citizens? Would a man that loves America provide money to organizations like Planned Parenthood that are killing off future generations of Americans, especially minorities? Would a man that loves America invite strangers across our borders who don't care to assimilate? Would a man that loves America demand that our watchdogs-the media, pledge their allegiance to him rather than remain adversarial for us?
Would a man that loves America destroy the best healthcare system by presuming politicians know how to practice medicine better than doctors? Would a man that loves America embolden our foreign enemies, including those that potentially are an existential threat while simultaneously emasculating our allies? Would a man that loves America seek every opportunity to divide its inhabitants among racial lines? Would a man that loves America attend Jeremiah Wright's church for more than a week? I think you'd agree with me that the answer to all of these questions is a resounding "no!"
Right or wrong, in the political arena whomever frames the debate and controls the messaging typically wins the argument. Accepting the left's premise on any given issue can lead to a second place finish for the GOP in 2016. Frankly, I'm not sure if there will be an America if that happens.
Could we have just one Republican give the appropriate response?

Finally figured out what was causing my nausea. It was not my meds, my lack of exercise, or anything else one might reasonably suspect. I simply stop listening to anything Obama or any of his sycophant political supports (in the media or anywhere else) have to say about anything...and my nausea has disappeared entirely. Although, I have to admit my thumb is getting a workout hitting the mute or channel buttons so often.
I would like to hear Obama- and any of his psychophants trying to score points off of Rudy’s accurate statement, to tell us- specifically what does Obama love about America? I am certain not the things that I love. I am certain is it not anything the founders loved.
Out of 300 million people, there are only a few hundred who would have been worse than Obama. Rudy would have been in the top 15 percent. Look around and try to imagine someone worse than Obama. You will have to look long and hard. Valerie Jarrett? She tells him what to do, it's a push. Susan Rice? She couldn't do this kind of damage on her own, she needs an Obama giving the orders. Hilary? She's not clever enough to do this much damage. Van Jones? Not sneaky enough about being a commie, he wouldn't be able to do much damage.
Fact is, almost no one on the face of the earth could have done as much damage as Obama has. Put Putin or even Chavez in charge, and they would run the place better. They'd say, hey, this place is pretty nice. Let me use this military to keep it safe, and let's make it even more wealthy so all these people like me. But not Obama. He looks at it and says, "how can I bring this place down to its knees, so even a two-bit place like Iran can come along and tell it what to do, so that its people are replaced by third world peasants and the ones who built the place are made into slaves."

It puzzles me to no end why grown men are afraid of wimps who wear mascara, carry purses and have willingly submitted to femi-Nazi castration. By golly, there’s nothing there to fear. A creampie in the face would trigger massive pants wetting in these liberal freaks.
Barack Obama comes out of an academic environment that shies away from explicit patriotism, sometimes praising cosmopolitanism above patriotism (as his UChicago colleague Martha Nussbaum did), but more often just not looking at the country and the world in the way previous generations of Americans did (and plenty of Americans still do).
But if you want to interpret "doesn't love America [in the same way or for the same things many other Americans do] as "hates and wants to destroy America" you may be taking it too far.
We can't see directly into anybody's heart and ascertain their deepest feelings and motives directly, so politicians have been right in not presuming to know Obama's faith or feelings about his country, but if you want to hazard a guess at someone's sentiments, you have to make an effort to get beyond your own assumptions and the easy answers that make you feel good.
If you're trying to understand somebody else's way of looking at the world you have to at least make an effort to consider ways in which it might be different from your own. Your first interpretation may well be the right one, but if you show no evidence of having tested it against other possibilities, people will be skeptical or dismissive when it comes to your conclusions.

For Barack Obama, America (or the good side of America) is "Selma, Seneca Falls, and Stonewall." That's different from the point of view we grew up with and different from what earlier presidents believed, but arguably, that's where Obama's coming from, and that could be one way of neither loving your America or mine or hating and wanting to destroy the United States.
First of all, Rudy was being polite. Obama hates America. It isn’t simply a matter of not loving America. Next, the Republican left isn’t just dodging criticism from the media. They agree with Obama’s policies. The Republican left loves Obamacare. They love amnesty, and they are too damned ignorant to understand what Islam really is.
And he would call for the Demmunists to join him.
